Don't forget to subscribe/follow the TLP designers list on facebook..

I was having my daily *i hate fb* moment and figured I should post here to remind everyone to follow our handy dandy TLP designer list. I'm not register in facebook and I do not really like how it works, but all these goodies attract me!!!
Maybe I could register in facebook just for them with a name that is not my real name. Is allowed?

you could make a pretty empty profile just to follow digi stuff :] I know a lot of people have no real information on their fbs and it's more of a place holder. I wouldn't make anything ridiculous up or anything-- but just a basic profile, no biggie imo.

They technically require it to be a real name, but as long as you choose something very name-like you're fine.

They suspended my account once because they said I was using a fake name (Peppermint, duh) and I had to fax them a copy of my driver's license to prove its my legal name so they'd reactivate my account. LOL And it was, like, four years after I'd opened my account! Talk about taking a while to get around to something.
 
I know my profile and a lot of my friends use our middle name's as our last names- for the sake of autonomy from bosses and such when they search for you on facebook. Just an fyi though- read on the terms of use or something like that (somewhere on the website!) you can only change your name once! So obviously saving that for when I get married haha.
