Anyone have some tips on the best way to document a Disney trip? I have about 800 photos (which I'm sure isn't as many as some!), and I thought I would put them into a Blurb book individually and journal, but as I started working on that this morning, it quickly became overwhelming. I'm thinking about doing 8x11 photo collages and then just dropping the pages into Blurb or else just printing them for my PL book.

Also planning to Sahlin Studio's word art, of course!

I'll be watching this thread! My daughter and I were just at Disneyland for just two days a couple weeks ago and I managed to take an overwhelming amount of photos. I had originally thought I would just include them all in my regular project life book, but the pages were adding up rather quickly. I'm looking to do a separate book but haven't figured out what my plan is yet.

One of the pollys just did her Disney trip in the memory motivators thread last month I think. Probably some fantastic tips in there.

I haven't ever scrapped a Disney trip. :( However, I'm working on my kids' baby books right now, and I also want to do my wedding album digitally. I have the pictures, but am missing the stories, so I'm taking the time to write the stories before I scrap. The scrapping takes me an hour or so.... the story writing takes forever. So I'm doing that in bits and pieces.

That's my tip.... write down the stories while you remember them!!!

Last summer, I wrote a series for the TLP blog about preparing to capture your Disney vacation. I know you're home now, but you might find some tips that will help you in those articles HERE.

Melissa, I've been working on our Disney Album from 2013 using the Project Life app and Project Mouse. So far so good. I work on it when I can. I started a few months ago, but can't just dedicate all my time to it. But it works sooo well! I love my pages and when I'm done, I am putting them in a book. Here are some of my pages:

I tried something similar, Melissa. I want to do a 6x8 album documenting each day, but I haven't gotten past day 1! I'm still working on it, though, as I have so many amazing memories & photos!

My family Christmas party was fast approaching (my trip was in Sept. 2014), so in order to have something to show my family, I got a 4x4 We R Memory Keepers album, printed out all my favourite photos and organized them by park. No journalling, just photos, just to have something to look at & show people. Even then I still had 46 pages! I LOVE this album! I look at it all the time.

Renee, I love your by day approach! Otherwise it seems like you have so many unrelated photos. This gives you the perfect way to combine seemingly unrelated shots and I love that!
