Do your kids pack or buy lunch?

This thread reminded me to log into my kids' lunch accounts and I found out my first grader has had ice cream everyday for the past 7 days. Grrrrr. He played dumb with the "I thought it was part of the lunch" excuse. I hate that they even offer ice cream treats to the kids.

Our school does that too, and it drives.me.crazy! My DD was really good about it last year and didn't buy anything. This year she's been admitting to me that she has been buying extras because she sees other kids doing it. She is such a lamb, she would follow anything right off a cliff.

Laura, my Mom was just diagnosed with Celiac disease and they want to test me now as well. I have been doing a lot of research on it.

My brother, my daughter and I all have it. It looks like my middle niece has it too. (Probably my mom as well but she will never admit it.) Going GF has been life-altering for my daughter's health - in a great way - just a BIG difference. I definitely feel better as well. It's honestly not as hard as you think it will be. Good luck!
