Do you use headphones for phone calls?

I finally got an iPhone back last July. Since then, I find myself always wearing clothes with pockets. Even if I'm at home for the day, I'll put on my shorts with pockets so when someone calls me, I can put my headphones in and lock my phone. I put the phone in my pocket so my hands are free to do laundry, dishes, or :giggle type. Yes, I am THAT person. I'll talk on the phone, but I want my hands free to do what I want.

So when you're on the phone, do you use headphones?

I've never used them! I don't talk on the phone much though. I can see where it would be helpful if you are a chatty person though - so you can still stay productive :)

Yes, that is critical Nikki! If I talked on the phone, I'm sure that's what I'd be doing too :)

I do. They are the best. And my mom ordered me one of the old handsets that plug into the headphone jack. I may look like a total goober but being able to rest the phone on my shoulder like the old days makes my heart happy.

I got one of these too... in hot pink. I was sooooo excited!!!

I have headphones that I use once in awhile (I don't talk on the phone that much), but I always feel weird having both ears plugged. With my old phone, I had a one ear thingy and I think I preferred that. But I would rather be hands-free also. :)

I remember the first time I had two ears plugged in. STERIO?! This phone call is STERIO now?! Well it's almost like we are sitting face to face.

Nope, I avoid talkign on the phone. I'll txt til the cows come home, but if someone calls chances are I won't actually answer lol

I tend to text more than talk but I do find the ear phones handy when I'm talking to my husband while I'm pushing the pram only thing is I look as tho I'm talking to myself so get strange looks

I've learned to not care anymore. The voices in my head tell me it's fine to talk to myself!

:giggle:giggle

i use a bluetooth hands-free device when i'm walking around. in the car, i use bluetooth through the speakers of the car (unless I want no one else to be able to hear... then I use the hands-free device). i am hardly EVER one to hold the phone. It's just uncomfortable.

I used my headphones at first, along with my iPhone in an OtterBox but now....no headphones and no box. I like my iPhone and I like that its small enough to slip in my back pocket.

No matter what kind of headphones I try, I get a headache in just a few minutes. I can't even listen to music on headphones. I just use the speakers when I'm outside. In the car, I can't even use the speakers as it gives me a headache, only outside like for a walk.

Weird, I know...

I have a little back cover for mine for that specific reason! I want it to slide easily in and out of my pocket!

I try to use headphones when I am in the car. I don't usually when I am at home, but it would probably make more sense than walking around with the phone propped up on my shoulder--usually rather precariously. I have been known to accidentally mute myself with my cheek and not be able to correct the problem.

I'm old-fashioned - if I talk on the phone, I need to hold a phone to my ear. :giggle DH uses headphones but it doesn't work for me :)
