Today, I used a welnessgift from my husband I got for mothersday. It was for a peeling and massage of the back, hands and face.

I was so relaxed and enjoyed every moment - the first time I ever did something like this.
Yes, I was a virgin on that domain! :whistle

She explained to me the facial cleaning and the facial masks etc.
**blush** never done all those things before..
--> my mom is not into those things and I never had money to spare to go to such things.

Well, anyways, my skin feels so fed and rich, my hubby even said I looked more vibrant... And if nothing were to be seen, he wouldn't say anything. :tantrum
So I entend to keep up these things and was wondering if you have any beauty rituals you are doing and that are helping?
Do you clean your face with a lotion and use masks? How many times and which product?

And do you have other tips???? :flirty

My three favorite beauty products are

Hope in a Jar by Philosophy - really awesome everyday moisturizer - normally I use it at night after I wash my face

Peter Thomas Roth CC cream - I am not a huge make-up person, but I do wear this CC cream because it does 3 things in one product: sunscreen, skin conditioning and tint for light coverage. I've only been able to find it at Sephora though. However, if you've never tried a CC cream, DO IT! They are fantastic. And quick!

It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner plus Keratin - can't say enough about how healthy this makes my hair! I use it on my girls' hair too. Great stuff -even available at Target!

Thank you Laura for the tips and taking the time for adding the links and pictures!! I will see if I can get those to Belgium to try out!

One of the best beauty tips I ever got was how to make your make up stay put despite a night dancing and drinking in a club - put your make up on, all apart from mascara, and then close your eyes and most your face with... Hairspray! Let it 'set' then open your eyes, apply some waterproof mascara and you're good to go for hours! I didn't believe it until I tried it, but it totally works :D

Thanks for those great tips, Laura!

I've suffered with cystic acne since my late twenties till now. It feels like I have tried EVERYTHING, even with changing my diet. Apparently it's hormonal. Still, nothing worked. My skin was getting too dried out from the acne medications, too.

Earlier this year I started using a product called Exuviance from Ulta. I originally went in there to buy something else, but ended up returning what made my skin feel itchy and burned. One of the girls caught me searching and told me that I needed to stop stressing over the acne and start taking care of my skin and worrying a little more about the anti-aging. She told me about this stuff and, I'm telling you it has helped SO. MUCH.

I use the Antibacterial Moisturizing Face Wash morning and night followed by the Soothing Toning lotion (a toner), and then in the morning I use Age Reverse Day repair (SPF 30) and at night I use the Age Reverse Night Lift. I also use the Eye Contour day and night for moisturizing under the eyes. I occasionally get a cystic zit here and there but I catch it before they get too bad and use the Blemish Treatment Gel. I also use the Clarisonic Pro (mine's white) every night with the Antibacterial Moisturizing Face Wash.

Hopefully, for anyone who might experience cystic acne, this could help you too! :thumbsups

Waw, Juliette never heard of that one, but will definitely keep it in mind, thanks!

Brandi, I'm sure it will and I will check your products too. It seems like you have an all worked out plan too and I would like that too.
I don't want to age too fast. It's bound to happen, but a little fighting against it, won't do no harme I believe.

I'm going to have to give some of those products a try, Laura! Especially the leave in conditioner. :)

As for tips ... don't skimp on your facial moisturizers or your eye cream ... and use them every single day without fail ... eat well, drink plenty of water, exercise, AVOID SMOKING LIKE IT'S THE PLAGUE, because it really is ... :giggle ... and drink alcohol only in moderation, or none at all (I don't drink at all). :) :)

I love Hope In A Jar too. I buy coconut oil for cooking with and when I first get a new container I scoop some into an empty eye cream container and keep that in my medicine cabinet or in the summer, in the fridge b/c it melts in the heat. A few times a week I apply a small amount to my face and it works like a charm to soften my skin. I use ROC alphahydroxy face and eye cream a few times a week to exfoliate the skin. I don't wear foundation, preferring to wear a BB cream that has a light tint, sunscreen and moisturizes. Right now I'm using L'Oreal's BB cream. I put on a vitamin C serum in the morning (forget the name, something from the health food store). I'm in my 50's and don't have many wrinkles which I partly attribute to the good skin care regime I have (and partly from good genes from my mom and dad).

I am horrible! I use Safeguard soap on my face...keeps it oil free and clean! :whistle
and my hubby loves me, and has thick glasses!:giggle
best secret!:heartslub

see I don't drink either these days ...but the smoking is a tough one to quit....
Natascha got me smoking less than half of what I was,....which is an improvement....
think about the money I can save, I can do a USA tour and go see you all in each of your cities ........ LOL

Oh, wow, girls I love reading your habits and trips, it's like a little peeping in your daily routine!!

Laura I use # 1, and #3 (OMG awesome stuff!) but have never tried #2 ... will have to check it out.

I use It's A 10 too, but I haven't tried the 'with Keratin' one. I will when I run out next time. I have started using their shampoo and conditioner too and really like. I have discovered that on Target online, they often run b1g1 specials sometimes it is get one free, sometimes, get one half off.

Not a big beauty product girl. I use foundation, light eyeliner & mascara. That's it. I don't go in the sun tons.
The only tip I could really give which is something I learned from my grandmother is too moisturize your face all the time. I use different ones & nothing fancy but it must work some because no one ever believes that I'm almost 45 years old.

I use Apple Cider vinger on my hair once a week.. brush a large amount into my hair.. gets rid of build up from shampoo.. leaves hair soft.. and manageable.. also helps get out knots. sometimes I leave a little bit in my hair.. but most of the time.. i brush it through good.. let it sit about 20 mins (while I scrap or search net ) and rise it out

I also do it to my girls hairs.. Asia has curls and hers gets really knotty and gross

I also SWEAR by Burts Bees lotion for my son's ezcema.. it is the only lotion that really helps get rid of his RED alligator skin bumps.. and it smells soooo goood

Oh, what a genius idea to use the apple cider vinegar!! I will try that out, definitely, thanks!
