When I was young, I always imagined having fabulous dinner parties with interesting guests and lively conversation. Of course as an adult, I haven't really had much of an opportunity for that type of dinner party. :thumbsdowns It doesn't stop me from daydreaming about having one though.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world who is currently living (it could be a celebrity, a family member, a world leader, etc.), who would you choose? (Assuming travel and the bill were paid for you.)

Is there anything in particular you would want to discuss over dinner?

My BFF on the other side of the world. We'd talk about everything and it would be a long dinner. :giggle

Okay, without thinking too seriously on this topic... I'd totally pick Jimmy Buffett! Lol! He intrigues me. OH and only if my hubby can come too. But seriously, we love his music and concerts and have been many times, but as a person Jimmy Buffett is interesting. He sings about living the beach bum island life, but then he's this fantastic businessman with several huge businesses AND he's written several books too. I'd love a peek at how his life actually is.

Richard Overton. He's America's oldest surviving WWII vet at 108. I don't know why, but something about that generation and period of History fascinates me. They just lived and saw and survived so many turbulent times. Their fortitude and courage inspires me. Imagine the stories he must have!

Queen Elizabeth II, I just think she would be interesting as all the things she has seen in her life.

They have to be alive, huh? There goes all my author idols: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, L.M. Montgomery... :giggle

Hmmm... I would love to have dinner with Brandon from HONY. I would love to sit back and just listen to him talk.

A happy mix of all the people who for 0ne reason or another left Malta. It would be fab to have them all around the table again.
