What, if anything, do you do to add extra pages or inserts to a week?

Last week I had lots of "everyday" photos to fill up my week, but I also had a ton of photos from a bicycle trip DH went on for a few days, and a bunch of my brand new nephew. I'm thinking I want to add an insert for each of these events to my Week 18, and I'm trying to think of the best way to do it. Any ideas?

I'd probably turn that week into a 4 page spread instead of my normal 2 page spread... I'm struggling with this too and part of the reason I'm avoiding doing Week 17 because it was the same week as Ali Edwards' Week In The Life so I have a ton of pictures and they're all small little Instagram pictures... but I think in the end I'm just going to pick a few bits and pieces of the week for my 2 pages since it seems kinda redundant to me to do both a WITL book and also do my Project Life pages

I know that the girls who are doing hybrid usually have an extra insert for birthdays and stuff... so I think that's probably what I would do is try to make it a 4 page spread instead of 2 pages... and if I ended up with only 3 pages I'd probably do like a "favorites" page or something to fill that other page, kwim?

Hmmm...I have no idea!! I guess just make a couple extra pages for that week?

yah, i think i'd just add two more pages.

but i haven't figured out how i'm printing just yet - as a book or printing individual pages and then sliding into protectors. if the second, then various sizes would be ok.

i added two extra pages for easter sunday. i just couldn't fit them all in.

it would depend on if you are going to print in in a book or individually. you could do a 6x12 insert if you are going to be printing and putting in sleeves later.

i'm still on the fence about whether i'm going to do this as a book or in an album.

I'm not strict about how many days I do for each two pager. My daughter's birthday was during Easter Weekend and I ended up doing Mon-Thu for the week before, Fri-Sat for her birthday and party the following day, Sun-Wed then Thu-Sun as I had lots of things to include as we were out and about a lot during the school holidays. I've also got two pagers which cover two weeks if it was dull so I figure it'll more or less even out in the end.

Yeah you could def add extra pages... If I got extra photos from one day, i either use 2 of them instead of one.... Or I make one page with that one days photos and make the 2nd page with the other 6 photos... You could check
My gallery fir exsamples :)

This is the reason why I decided not to print it as a book. I have a couple of inserts already and I don't think our album would feel complete without them, :)

I'm doing mine digitally, but I'm printing them out and putting them in the PL page protectors. I've done about 10 inserts so far; I love the freedom it gives me. If I were doing it as a digital layout, though, I'd probably make a 4 page spread. I had to let go of the idea that each week should be a 2 page spread a while back, and I have survived, lol.

I have a couple books going at once. Each of my kids have books and I have an all about me book. Plus I do one project 365 book. If I have extra photos I just make pages for who's book it is for.
