Not completely pleased with these, but thought I would share what I've been playing with to see what people think. I've been trying to replicate the Faberge enamel technique I saw at the Art museum earlier in the year that is called Guilloché Enamel. Leah made me some transparent enamel styles and that was part of what I needed. Some more tweaking is needed to get a shinier feel on the enamel in the large inner frames - could be adjusting the pattern layer somehow or maybe the enamel part. I think the wavy pattern on the blue frame should be smaller, but I was being lazy the other day and only used my phone to photograph the pattern paper instead of scanning it. I will keep playing
I made these last night to use on my holiday faves album that I will be starting soon. They would be good for Thanksgiving-thankful pages too, I think. The colors I chose turned out to be very generic/primary, so hopefully they will be useful to other people too. I've already got my December/Winter pins done too, and I them. I had some fun playing with the new transparent enamel styles. No peeking until the new exchange thread is up though
Ok, I am grabbing these.... and tomorrow I should have a holiday/winter one. I already have two pins for it.
