I hate missing anything! I wish we were all on the same time zone, but that is what makes it so cool to have us all over the world, but still love this digital scrap fun!
The meet and greet with Dawn was pure awesome and I asked if I could share some of the fun with you all who were not able to make it.
So here we go:
We start with the adorable bear on Dawn's logo (did you see that frog too?) ♥ She has had this bear for years, and was actually her avatar when she was a paper scrapper, it comes from a mirror her Dad made for her. I love seeing it paired with the frog and that gorgeous circle with the Lily Pad on it too!
Here are some more of her collection of bears! PURE adorable...but wait, the adorable continues.
Dawn's daughter works with birds, and many times, her work comes home with her, like in Dawn's kitchen!!!
I can hear the oooooooooooooooooohs and aaaaaaaaaaaaahs! This is Bagel, a Snowy Barn Owl.
I love him, and his personality. He is so smart, and he took this selfie.
While the birds are growing and getting stronger they "fly" around Dawn's home. lol
here are some Hammerkops with Carly!
I think Dawn loves it just as much as Carly, here Dawn is with some pied crows, looking rather ravenish...and Edgar Allen Poe. tee hee
and all this happens as Dawn creates here:
oh goodness, I missed the photos of Marvin! Perhaps @dawninskip will put the two up from chat. He is her companion as she creates. He totally freaked my brain, that is why I probably missed saving his photos.
But as any Harry Potter Fan who just happens to have an owl residing in her home, a vase full of wands is a guarantee for magic to happen!
We are so extremely blessed to have Dawn, her talent and her amazing team as part of the Lily Pad Family. Those who were unable to be there at the chat, you were missed, but we didn't want you to miss it all. It is always fun to see a bit of the life around the designers, and wow to the fun!
