The other thread about software got me wondering how many people use a desktop or a laptop to scrap? Or maybe you scrap on your phone or tablet.

I have a 15 inch windows 10 laptop. I used to have a 17 inch but went to 15 inch when I upgraded last year. Not sure if that was a good idea because these old eyes really miss the 17 inch one. I am looking at getting a cable so I can attach my old desktop monitor and have 2 screens so I can scrap like Cheryl and pull elements from another screen and add them to my layout.

How about you? What do scrap on?... inquiring minds want to know!

I'm on a PC desktop although I will steal my husbands laptop on occasion. I use PSCS6 on the desktop but loaded PSE ( forgot what version) on the laptop.

You will really like 2 screens.

I have a great laptop, which I've talked about before so I'll spare you all the details lol.
I also have a 22" monitor that I used to use as well, but I just don't have the same setup in this house. DH and I both want a computer desk; maybe once we get one I'll set up my big monitor. :)

I primarily use my MacBook Pro. Been piddling with iPad/iPhone with doing some collages in PL or PicStitch and learning the whole Lightroom Mobile thing so I can pick photos to scrap and put them into collections when I don't have access to my computer.

I have a Mac desktop that I use for 95% of my scrapping. It has two monitors, and, YES, being able to pull from one screen to another and drop on my layout is magic!! I also have a Mac laptop for when I'm scrapping away from home. I do miss the dual monitor setup when I do that!!!

Just replaced my iMac desktop computer with a 27 inch screen, which was recently declared to be vintage, with a new one just like it only more ram and memory. I LOVE it! I like the 27 inch screen. You can open up two layouts on it and drag and drop between the two. I considered going to a smaller screen but am really glad I didn't. :)

I just got a new 17.3" laptop and I have another 23" monitor attached to it. I thought about switching to a desktop when I was shopping because I am in my office most of the time, and I figured I could use the old laptop when I wanted to be somewhere else or to take when I travel. But, DS needed a laptop for school work and for his games, so I just went for a bigger laptop with all the power I needed and gave him the old laptop.

27" iMac plus I used to have dh's hand me down 17" MacBookPro.When that screen became too pixelated for my eyes after looking at the much newer iMac, I was glad to have his 15" MBP when he upgraded to an MacAir. Then the 15"MBP died - only half the screen would show - so I no longer have any laptop. I missed having one a lot on our recent England trip but cannot decide what I would get. cf @jk703 's recent issues about wanting that 17" screen. Add to that I want 17" and light. I WANT IT ALL! aaargh

Even when I had a laptop, most of the time it was docked at my desk and outputted to my monitors. I rarely scrapped anywhere else, so it wasn't a huge change to go back to a desktop. I do miss having my laptop from time to time when I travel, though.

I do love my desktop and using two monitors. I'd love to add a third again (yes, I had three, but my shelf that held them collapsed and one of them died LOL). Now the shelf is secure and ready for a third. Mainly the third would be for watching YouTube and Netflix. Ha!

Laptop! I just need to load up the photos I want to scrap on my laptop as my photos live on my EHD (or take it with me). All my content is on my laptop. I love scrapping where ever I need to wait on my daughter - Spanish class, piano lesson, Girl Scouts, etc.

I have a desktop with a 27" monitor and I love it!!!

I'll probably be investing in a laptop before the summer so I can scrap during our move. But I want to get a decent size monitor with it.

since May 2011 I've been privileged to scrap on a 27inch iMac (and I expect that to continue for years more)
for a couple years before that, I scrapped on a 15" Toshiba laptop; during the end of that time I plugged it into a monitor so I had two screens!
previous to that I scrapped on desktop PCs - remember those huge heavy monitors of the olden days near the beginning of the millennium? LOL I could find a photo, but I don't think any are close up enough to show a digiscrap page in progress. That would be neat to see. I don't even remember what that was like. How quickly we get used to things!

PC: I have the awesome desktop that my brother built for me. I don't know the specs except it's fast. I just bought a 24" tv screen today for it. I also have a 17" PC laptop. And with the new screen above, I have a second screen for it.

When our new gaming table comes, I get my old 'desk' back, and will have the desktop with 2 monitors.

I scrap on a laptop so that I can take it with me when I go to workshops, retreats and on holiday (up to Mum's). It is a beast of a laptop. An Alienware gaming laptop, because computer games are anotjer love of mine! It (usually) runs absolutely perfectly, but those pesky updates often make it go crazy.

I have done laptop, laptop, desktop, laptop. And I do wish I could have dual screens, but I think the ability to take it places is better for me. Besides when I get a desk set up again (dining table for me), I could get another screen and have it next to it!
