Dentist Today!

I don't think anyone loves going to the Dentist... me included. I don't get scared much, but I just don't love having my mouth hanging open while someone is poking aroudn in there judging me on whether I brush enough or floss correctly. :) Then I HATE when I have a cavity and have to go back... it's SO expensive!

i don't mind going... but i haven't been in over a year so i guess i actually need to find one and go! :)
 
I am also overdue for a visit! I don't have a dentist here and got a great deal on Groupon for a cleaning, exam, x-ray, and teeth whitening system for $69. I just need to schedule it!
 
I'm scared of the dentist, too, but I do go every six months. We found a dentist a couple years back who doesn't use a hygienist and he doesn't scrape our teeth, he uses some high powered tool to get rid of the plaque. It only takes like 10-15 minutes. LOVE him.
 
OMG I am like a dentist's dream! So many problems with my teeth and jaw all my life. The last time I went to the dentist they pulled out a tooth. No matter what happens karen...you have it easier than me! rofl
 
its the clean and polish i dont like and i swear the hygenist was a butcher in a former life my mouth was full of ulcers after she had finished then i had to take fin and he needed a tooth out and a filling and she has mentally scared him now for life and i have a game getting him there now with out the screaming in the waiting room and tears so now i refuse to see her and only let the man see Fin,I really didnt want my kids to fear the dentist all there lifes like i have but she did that job quite well for me poor kid
 
Ugh I HATE the dentist now! I just had to have a tooth pulled and the dentist had a heck of a time, leaving my collarbone and neck bruised, he also broke a piece of my jaw bone out with the tooth, My face looked like a chimpmunk I had the most unimaginable pain for over a week and since I'm Preggo I don't get to take anything good for pain :( Oh and I get to pay to fix it. Depending on how much our insurance will cover it will be anywhere from $1,500-$5,000 HATE THE DENTIST
