I really love putting up my Autumn decorations. It's such a cozy time of year! I am going to get started next week so I can enjoy them for a while. I always swap out my pillows, add some throws, do a nice harvest centerpiece, change up my mantels and front door wreath. I also have some fall pics of my kids on canvases that I hang up. I found this awesome front porch display in Southern Living a few years ago and it popped up on Pinterest today, so I am going to make that my big project this fall. Now, where to find an antique wheelbarrow?? Hmmm. Do you like to decorate for Autumn?

I love to decorate for fall. Its my favorite time of the year but it has to feel like fall to me before I drag out my stuff and it's still been in the 90's here. It's that little crispness in the air that I look forward to at this time each year and all the beautiful colors. I love that project you are going to tackle. I may have to try something like that this year.

I SUCK at decorating. I don't even have anything on my walls, really. Isn't that awful? I need help. :(

Here in Florida, we don't actually get fall most years so we have to decorate by calendar instead of by the feel outside. Fall and Christmas are really my only different decorating. I pull out the pumpkin scented candles and my pumpkin decorations. My front door wreath is always fall colored because my mom made a beautiful one that I refuse to take down except for the Christmas one. But my house has a real fall color palette all the time with orange, green and a dark purple. I actually collect pumpkins and display them year round!

I might suggest a thrift store to look for your wheelbarrow.

I love autumn so much. SO much. It's my favorite. And so I do love decorating for autumn! And burning scented candles that remind me of autumn. After living where it's abnormally hot for over a decade now it's all I have. LOL! It helps me pretend that I actually get to enjoy the season of autumn, even though there really is no such thing where I live.

I'm totally not into decorating, but I want to be. I always pick things out in mags that I want to do, but then I never buy what I need to do it. I really had high decorating hopes for our new house, but so far I haven't done anything really. Maybe I'll get a fallish centerpiece on the dining room table this fall, that would be quite an accomplishment for me.

Arg, I miss autumn! South Texas doesn't really get fall. I still decorate though, because it helps remind me of home. I mainly decorate my mantel with leaves and pumpkins and a few fun nick-naks I've made or bought. Each year I try to make one thing to add to my decor. I don't think that is going to happen this year though. Post some pics for us if you get that wheelbarrow idea pulled off Laura!

I'm with Stacia - no Fall in Florida. I did pull out my pumpkin scented candles yesterday but I'll wait unil the middle-end of Setpember to put up my autumn wreaths on my door. Then in early October we'll pull out our Halloween decorations. Guess I should start planning now for anything new we might make this year. I wished I live somewhere where the leaves changed and it was cool enough to actually put pumpkins out on the front porch and decorate. Here we're still sweating on Halloween.

We'll decorate for Halloween but I don't have a whole lot of fall decor. It is my favorite season but I always get homesick for New England when my house is filled with fall stuff.

I loooove to decorate and esp for spring & fall... I honestly enever put up anything for summer, but the more for fall & spring. I have lots of cute little statues from this little fall-guy thingy...haha, that's clear for a description, right?! Well...how about we all show them when it's all done? sounds like fun if you ask me.

BUT to be honest...they say tomorrow is going to be a fall day with lots of rain, but I'm FAR from ready for fall!!! Still wanna enjoy the summer and hoping we'll have like 4-6 more weeks of sun!! hehe

My mom decorates. If I feel the need to experience some Martha Stewartness I just take my butt to her house, remind myself what a pain doing all that decorating junk was, the enjoy not decorating and laughing while she curses that one of her knick knacks broke while stored away.

I'm absolutely awful with decorating. I'd love to...I just have no idea how to pull it all together!

ROFL, I just pulled the stuffed reindeer, Santa and a couple of other winter holiday things off our mantle! I think my family would die of shock if I decorated for autumn! (maybe for Halloween)

I loooove fall! It's not here in Tennessee yet, but it is my favorite season. And I think fall candles are my favorite thing of all.

I just bought a bunch of new fall colored pillows :) and I've been scouring pinterest for some wreath ideas. I'm going to do a centerpiece but not sure what else yet. Love the canvas idea, I don't have any fall pictures of my kids because this is the first fall we have had about 9 years. I am so, so excited to live in a place with 4 seasons again. The year round summer thing was not for me.

I looove fall! Last year I had some great plans that I got too busy to finish (I still have a pile of fabrics and stuff waiting to made into cute things!). And this year we'll be moving for a good chunk of the fall. Soooo.... we'll have to wait and see! I really *hope* I can decorate for fall this year, but it might not happen.

You guys do things so differently to us Aussies! You seem to celebrate the seasons so much more than we do. All we do is really decorate for Christmas. All decos go up on 1st December and come down just after New Years Day. Halloween isn't really celebrated at all or not to the extent that anyone decorates inside or outside their house. You do Thanksgiving and we don't. The seasons come and go but in Melbourne where I live, sometimes you can get 4 seasons in one day...a Wintery blast on Christmas Day which is in the middle of Summer for us and so forth! I just love seeing what you all do around the house. We're just about to head into Spring here so the weather is a tad warmer and the blossom trees are all blooming :)

I love fall so very much too. And Halloween! I look forward to this time of year EVERY year! We're a little in limbo right now...it'll be hot like summer one week and then a little cooler like fall the next. A few trees are starting to change though so I think I can get started! I have boxes and totes of fall/halloween goodies. And Micheals usually puts their garlands on sale sometime around this time of year so I can probably stock up on a few more of those soon!
I don't think I have a photo handy, but if I do it again this year I will take one....my big project is to make a fall tree. I find a branch and spray paint it black, then I use my fall garlands and orange lights to decorate it. I weigh it down in a flower pot with those foam things for fake flowers. Works well as long as my branch isn't too huge :) Sometimes I make a spookier halloween version too, with cobwebs draped on it!
