Decisions... shoulder injury

Ok the ER was the right call. It's not dislocated and they explained that with shoulders they're either obviously dislocated or not. Her joints hyper extend so she just moved her shoulder out of alignment within the joint during dance. They did all the imaging in the ER and it's just soft tissue. Rest and ice. So even though she didn't get any treatment we left with greater piece of mind. We got a referral for an orthopedic doc but mainly to get a physical therapy prescription.

So two and a half hours later we're already sitting at Water Tower with our lunches!!

Thanks everyone!
best possible outcome!

glad it worked out and if she has to have an injury like that, i guess this is a good week for it. speedy recovery for clara. my daughter and i just binged watched 13 reasons why too.

So glad that it's just rest and ice for her poor shoulder.

Also... I started watching 13 Reasons on Friday and finished on Saturday. I could. not. stop. I read the book, but rated it three stars... this show was SO much better than the book. It was hard to watch, but also so good. I cried several times and at one point I marched to my kids' room and gave them both a huge hug.

This is totally unrelated to Tracie's OP, but you guys have made me add 13 Reasons to my Queue! Any show that's better than the book has me intrigued!

@jenn mccabe @Karen @Tree City Maybe we need a 13 Reasons Why discussion thread once we're all done (we're on #10 at the moment) :-) So many things I want to talk about! Like I said before, I'm glad Clara and I are watching it together so we can talk about things.

Karen... you're not the first person I've heard say that the show is better than the book.

I really like how the stories unfold, but thank goodness for Clay's scar or I would be very confused in regards to current day vs. flashback!
