So today is kit day. Is there a rhyme or reason as to why some collab kits are on sale and some aren't? Even within one designer it seems hit or miss....

The store categories do make a distinction between Kits vs Kit Collabs. It's up to the individual designer whether they classify their collabs as both.

A question about Dec. 20, 'Spend $5, Get 35% Past BYOC' ... How 'past' is past? : ) CD Muckosky has a nice alpha from BYOC Feb '08 (or '09). Does that still qualify for the sale? I ask because the 'BYOC - Past' link on the left-hand side of the store only goes back to Jan. '12.

The categories you can see in the store under Past BYOC and the associated products will be part of the sale. Unfortunately, products that predate the store menu won't be. The good news is that sale will include more than 1,100 products!!!
