Hey everyone... are you participating in December Daily or Documenting Your December? The TLP designers have so many fabulous products for this, I'm sure you are all just dying to show off your pages.
I thought I'd start this thread in case you want to post pages or just chat about DD/DYD.
(And if there is another thread about this somewhere else, please feel free to ignore me. )
Yay! I've been searching for a thread about DYD. There's one in the project life forum about planning... but I hadn't seen one for pages yet. I've gotten my title page done and a couple other pages almost finished. Since our traditions start Thanksgiving night and we don't celebrate with my husband's family until after Christmas, I picked a number (26) for my structure for this year. I'm just going to document 26 things related to Christmas. Some of the numbers will correlate with the actual dates (like #18 will be my daughter's Christmas concert on the 18th) and #25 will be Christmas day. #26 is not going to correlate with the actual date, but that one is for the day we celebrate with my husband's family. I'm using a sn@p album and I'm really hoping I can see this through!
I am thinking about documenting december using the collect app. I'll have a photo with the date and a little text for each day. I can have them printed as 3x4 cards at Persnickety and then maybe I'll print some of the gorgeous December journal cards from our amazing designers and stick it all in a 6x8 snap album. Just a thought. I've actually never completed DYD before, so….
Thanks Kimberlee! That title page is basically our Christmas card so I can't officially show anyone yet... it's killing me!
Ashley... I love that idea! I may have to do that too. Maybe I'll put that behind the last divider in my sn@p album! Anything worth doing is worth overdoing, right? lol!

I have my first page completed, and it's the Christmas Manifesto (I'm doing a Journal Your Christmas)
I decided to go pocket style 8x8 with actual 3x4 and 4x6 sizes (and other like 2x2 and 4x4). So no 12x12 shrunk to 8x8!
I bought a sn@p and lots of different photo inserts to use so I could try something different, but for the first few days, I fell into my old rut and scrapped 6x8 simple pages. I did branch out a little on day 4, but I'm waiting until my prints come in so I can photograph it.
I don't think i can manage a full on DYD, so I think I'm going to do a 12 Days of Christmas project. Twelve double page spreads (because I always do 2-pagers) incorporated into my regular book. I do one book for every quarter of the year...
I am just doing 8.5x11 pages scattered in with my PL pages and it will just follow special things we do through the Holidays. I found it to be to much of a repeat with my PL to do daily, and I don't have the time or energy for that.
