December Celebrations | Pad Patter 12.2

It was always the end of the school year, that occurred early December.
My Mom's birthday was the 8th, my B-I-L's is on the 16th - which is also a public holiday, 22 is a good family friend, 23rd is S-I-L's birthday.

Our holiday to London has been cancelled so no travel plans.

I'm sorry your trip was cancelled! Hugs! :(

My daughter’s birthday is December 31, New Year’s Eve. When she was younger we would end up having little girl slumber parties instead of champagne to celebrate the New Year. Her friend’s parent loved us since they go free babysitting on the holiday!
:funfun

Free babysitting on NYE! lol! I agree, parents loved you! :giggle

I don't really do much for it, but I'm always highly aware of winter solstice and excited about it, because it means the days begin lengthening again.
I love this too! The darkened hours really being me down. I need sunlight!

We celebrate on the 11th December which is my son's birthday. And this year was his 18th, I don't know where the last 18 years have gone.

We had a small celebration, went for a meal with family then just me, my husband and son back to the house for drink while watching Chucky. We did venture to our local pub for drinks after the meal but it was empty so my son wanted to come home.
