Pretty much sums up what I am feeling right now.

Don't get me wrong...I love Christmas. And I am starting to plan my gifts and such because I am doing about 90% of my gifts handmade. But seriously the decorations...the commercials...the dumb new toys (which let me tell you that could be a rant all on it's own lol)

It's just too early for me....my Dad tells me I am just getting grouchy in my old age :huh

we dont celebrate thanksgiving here so I´m enjoy all the christmas stuff around :)
 
Like!!!! :) I usually don't even decorate until halfway through December!
 
Definitely agree! Last night all commercials on TV were Christmas. Augh! I like Thanksgiving and really do enjoy it but I also understand Christmas is important to businesses. DH and I were just talking about how we almost dread Christmas time because what everyone wants and that its just not the same. Oh, and our grown kids may be disappointed this year because "Santa" owes the IRS! Guess who gets paid first?!?! LOL

My DH went to the store last night and the displays of Halloween candy had already been turned into candy in Christmas wrapping. Crazy. I'm no scrooge, but I do fondly remember when we had a little bit of a break between Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If we are going to have the Christmas rush early, I just wish that people would be nice and jolly and it wouldn't be all about the retail. :p
 
I'm so proud of my kiddos though. They complain about Christmas stuff being up and ask to go get Thanksgiving decor for the house.
 
LMAO!! I admit, I am excited for Christmas a little more than normal because we'll be together with our families this year for the first Christmas since, well, 2005? But it's a tad early for Christmas.

Though I am itching to listen to Christmas music... :tree
 
LOL! I totally feel you. I loooooove the holidays so much! This whole period from now through the end of the year. So I'm a little guilty of feeling-the-pull-to-play-holiday-music-too-early and I love everything about Christmas, but I like for everything about this time of year to gooo slowwwww so I can soak it all up.

I agree with both of these pictures - stay the F back Christmas!!! :) I LOVE Thanksgiving!!!
 
awww! LOL! Well I like the Christmas stuff early so I can take it easy in Dec and just do crafty things. I like to have the shopping done and decorating done before Dec. comes. :)

I do LOVE Thanksgiving though and I am so excited for it. I just take both of them hand in hand lol
 
Oh no Christmas can't come quick enough for me I love it,i love the preparation the buying of gifts the atmosphere love love love
