I finally finished Cuckoo's Calling...I really liked it...took forever to read, but that's more because it's my busy season....anyways...it's much more adult than HP, and far better than A Casual Vacancy.

Now...on to the Divergent Series =)

It was funny because I had it on my library list, but I was number 213. Haha. Anyway, the library has a section called "Lucky Day" and I found it there one day. I read it and liked it, but I couldn't remember why there was so much hype around it at the time I read it. Later I realized why. I haven't read any of her other books, so it was interesting to see her writing style. It will be interesting to see if it becomes a serial. I have A Casual Vacancy in my to-read list.

I have liked both of JK Rowling's post-Potter books. I think Cuckoo's Calling was a pretty average detective story, but I think the characters were great and I love how Rowling ties things together. I also liked the whole celebrity/fame theme and I'd like to see more of Cormoran and Robin.

I agree about it being a pretty average detective story...nothing extraordinary or new...but I also agree that I'd love for more books with C&R =)

I finished it a little while back. Good read, I liked it. Not my all time favorite book, but it'll do.

I agree. I'd like to see a series with C & R.
