I have been using CS3 forever and I love it but I got my new camera in this week and CS3 won't open my RAW files so I had to download a trial of CS5. I just have to say that I am in love so far. I am still clueless to where everything is now but the way they redid the adjustment panel is worth it all to me. I will definitely be buying it. Thank goodness my husband is a teacher and we can get it much cheaper through academic superstore.

Anyone else loving CS5? I am probably the last person out there trying it. I have always just been so comfortable in CS3 and probably would not have even tried CS5 if not for the camera thing but glad it worked out this way.

I do love it for the most part.. wasn't a fan while trying to slice last night but that was me not the program haha

I upgraded to CS5 about 6 months ago after YEARS of using CS2 and I love it. I had to find a couple settings at first, like I didn't want it to open my files as tabs and I had to turn off the expand all layer styles button in the layers palette. Otherwise I hit the ground running!

I love it! Can't live without that content aware tool...that alone makes it worth the price!

Oooh I'm just switching now from CS4 to CS 5.5 and so far I like it! Prior to that I was a CS3 girl too. And I am so in love with the upgrades. :beat

i still have CS3 ... i can't decide if i want to upgrade ?! but y'all are making it sound very, very tempting :)

So I am kinda ticked...when I started school I was forced to upgrade from PSE to CS4 lol...I was not happy with it at all, I was perfectly content in PSE....what was I thinking right?!?!?...anyhow then like 2 ro 3 months later CS5 came out...and wouldn't ya know I missed the free upgrade to CS5 by like a stinkin week!!

But while the kids and I did our extended vacay thing up in WA I put the trial of CS5 on my laptop so I could scrap...it was AMAZING...so I do plan on upgrading...in fact I need to call my counselor today to see if I can work it into my financial aide package because I need Dreamweaver and that wasn't in my CS4 package.

I do love CS5, and if you can believe it, I was still using version 7 *gasp* before that, so it was kinda like moving from Atari to an Ipad when I upgraded! :giggle

I still don't know everything it does yet (like content aware --- no clue where that is!), but I'm working my way through.
