So, I'm ready to pull the trigger and get CS5. But there's a couple of different versions - extended, design standard, design premium. All I am using it for is scrapping, not designing, so what is it that I need? I just want to make sure I have Bridge, which the extended has, so I think I'm good with that. But am wondering if there's something in the design versions that I can't live without?

GASP!!!!! You are finally crossing over to the dark side!!!!! WOOT!!!!

What if you got PSE? I've only ever used PSE and I don't design so I probably don't know what I'm missing. ;) AND you can use templates now! ;)

I have a "bootleg" version of CS2 that I've been using for about a year now. I never wanted to pay for the full program until I knew I was able to actually use it, but I always said that once I got semi-comfortable with it, I would buy the newest version of the program. I bought a laptop over the weekend, and DIP won't work in Windows 7, so this is a necessity now.

I have the same and above... education discounted extended version. Does everything but my dishes for me. :)

Perfect. That's the one I thought, but I got nervous when I saw all the other options!
