oh my goodness
We have been go go go go go go go almost every night this month. Tomorrow night, I am home but will be sewing 2 shepherds and one Joseph costume. (which honestly is fun for me, because the boys wear them for months and act out the play in New Boy Version of the Nativity):giggle
How is your month going? I think Thursday evening, I may sit in the tub for an hour!

It's been a super hectic pace at my house too...and as much as I am busy, I don't like to cultivate a culture of busy for my family. School is out at 11 am on Friday and then I am going to be really intentional about slowing things down!

It's snowing today and the roads are a mess. So Mother Nature declared that I will relax today. At home, on the couch, with a blanket. My month hasn't been crazy, but it has been busy.

We have been super busy and crazy so far this month, but part of it has to do with my grandma being in the rehab facility. Lots of daily visits and errands for her. We also have a lot of appointments for Kennedy this month, which kind of stinks, but on the plus side, the big chunk of them fall during winter break so he won't miss school for them.

I'm looking forward to mid-January when things should finally slow down. Ugh.

In the midst of Christmas concerts and band concerts, we've been spectators at our school's annual invitational basketball tournament (and my oldest got to play in the "pep" band for the very first time!), plus we still have basketball and soccer ongoing until early next week. Plus both my boys are December babies so we've got family birthday parties in the mix as well. Busy busy busy!

Absolutely nuts here! I'm hanging on until Friday and then I may be in the tub for a week LOL

aw. today is a quick trip to grocery shop, my girls are going to walk to their work next door from the store. I will come home, unload the small bit and then putting my jammies back on.
and sit
perhaps scrap
but a few hours of down time
then I can sew tonight without any pressure.
aw.
today shall be good

It has been busy, but not so much that I'm going crazy thankfully. We are more busy because of basketball than because of Christmas stuff. I haven't even done my Christmas cards yet, but I'm not really stressed about it. If it gets done, that's great, but if not, I'll have all the stuff for next year, so either way it's all good! :) I have the day off work on Friday (the boys last day of school) and I get to go with all the kids 3-8th grade to the roller skating rink in the afternoon. It's a little embarrassing how much I love to roller skate, so I'm really looking forward to unwinding with both my boys then. :)

thankfully, we've been pretty slow-paced lately. Other than the odd concert here or there, we've managed to hang out at home and relax. No one being in any sports right now has really helped that!

I do have things to finish up for my son's birthday and for Christmas, but I am not feeling frantic. :)
