Coupon at Staples for Martha Stewart collection stuff!

I finally got to Staples today to see what all the fuss is about the Martha Stewart/Avery collection. Oh my. I grabbed their flyer at the front door and there was a coupon for $3 off $10 of Martha stuff. They let me use 2! (I don't know how long the coupon is good, but it may be online as well.)

I asked if all the Martha stuff was in one place and the guy laughed and said, "Let me show you the 'Great Wall of Martha'!" LOL

Also, I read here (forgot who - sorry!) about Target having their own 'washi' tape so I checked that out as well. They come in packs of 4 rolls, a solid and 3 pattern tapes in one color. There is a red, blue and a green pack. 4 rolls for $4.

These finds (and a pedicure) really made my day, especially since I got caught in a downpour not once, but twice today!! LOL

I went to Target yesterday and could not for the life of me find that washi tape...but I do live in the country so it could just be that our Target doesn't carry it. Was it in the scrapbooking stuff or somewhere else?

I NEED to go to Staples for that Martha stuff! :)
 
i love that tape!!!

i looked at our target, and couldn't find it anywhere! :cry hopefully it was just out of stock that day. i'll keep stalking. :giggle
 
It wasn't w/scrapbooking stuff. It was with the regular office stuff. I think the same aisle as the post its. There was a newish section of coordinating push pins, binder clips, paper clips, magnets, etc. Most of that stuff was hanging then on the shelves beneath were the packs of tape along with other similarly colored items.

AND... they really seem to be JUST like washi tape too. I thought maybe it would be cheaper, flimsy or more of a scotch tape w/designs but no, very cool stuff. And at $1 roll!

Congrats on the haul, Ang! I have also tried to find washi tape at my Target in the office section and have had no luck so far. It may be because my Target is undergoing renovations right now though. But I did pick up some MS file label stickers at Staples a while back. :)
 
There's nothing better than shopping for crafty supplies to pick you up! :)
