I want to start by giving a heartfelt thanks to everyone who applied for this call. It was our most intensely competitive call EVER and you did not make the selection process easy. The selection committee was truly blown away by the quality of your applications and the high regard you all have for the Pad. It was difficult and humbling to have so SO many (more than!) qualified applicants. It was incredibly difficult and heart wrenching to have to say, "not this time" to so many talented and caring people. Everyone who applied has now received a personal response; again, thank you for the thought and care you put into your applications. We have the BEST community here at the Pad!

Without further ado, it is my very great pleasure to introduce this outstanding group of new Pollys. Please join me in giving them a huge congrats. I hope you'll be inspired and encouraged by them in the days ahead. CONGRATS, ladies!!! We are thrilled to welcome you to the team!

I'm still shocked beyond belief that I'm here as a Polly ... like Kayla - I have had tons of "thanks but no thanks emails" in the past - and yes, even shed tears over having received a few of them!!
