Help me!!! I have been subjected to watching all the college ball games today!!! Currently flipping between Alabama/Auburn and Texas A&M/LSU. At least I am getting some scrapping done but still...

I really like college basketball, but there are sooooo many games lol. I don't really watch a lot until the end of the season. WV Mountaineers are 5-1 :woot . My mom watches them all, it's her favorite!! She is almost 84 and she texts back and forth with my 90 year old aunt through all the games :giggle

I love college football. Been watching it all day yesterday and today. Although (thankfully) I fell asleep during "The Game" and didn't end up seeing OSU lose. I can say I wasn't surprised though. I think the media has been hyping them too much this year.

Bama/Auburn was a good one but wish it would have gone the other way. I wanted to see the CFP standings really shaken up if 2 of the top 4 both lost. Yeah, I'm evil.

Best of all my alma mater won, 49-14 and ended up 7-5 on the year. They were shaky in the beginning of the season so they ended strong. Crossing my fingers that the Rockets can get into a bowl game.

The stars were aligned this week and Iowa will play Michigan (big upset) in the Big 10 football playoff next week. Yesterday, Iowa came from behind from a 15-point deficit scoring 19 points in the final quarter beating Nebraska. Today Minnesota upset Wisconsin giving Iowa first place in the Big 10 western division. I anticipate they will get creamed by Michigan, but one can always hope!

Man, that game was terrible on my nerves. Alabama didn't even really play for 3 quarters of that game. I couldn't believe the number of flags and penalties. I was so stressed out. I try not to get that way, because it's really just a game played by 18 to 25 y/o boys who will be partying after the game, win or lose. But I gotta be honest, I was pretty worked up. That they came back and won in the 4th OT was a wonderful surprise, but it was heated while we waited to see who would be the one to mess up. LOL

I know that's how I would have been if I had actually watched "The Game". One time I'm glad I don't feel good and needed to nap. Missed it all!

I have a very good friend that is a HUGE Cincinnati fan. Yesterday she kept posting to bring on either UM or OSU so that UC could show who was the boss. And, she wanted UC to show OSU who the best team in Ohio really is... As for me, I say give UC a game with Georgia so we can see if UC is really any good. They have had some shaky games this season as have most teams. UC just has been able to not lose.

I'm also hoping Iowa can pull it out in the Big10 Championship game. I always watch that game but will skip this year.

I also have found that the best way for me to watch any game with a team I'm a fan of is in, is with the sound off. The announcers tend to make my BP go up.

Yeah, I'm not into the taunting or posting. Most of the time, I post on FB that it's Game Day, but don't post the final score. I **did** post yesterday's game score because it was such a crazy game - first OT for the Iron Bowl and it took 4 of them. Thought it would be neat to see it pop back up in my FB memories.

I guess we'll see who shows up in the top rankings this week! I'm interested to see how the playoffs look this year.

Jay was worried about me because my face was flushed. I kept trying to deep breathe but it wasn't helping much. I'm sure my BP was elevated! LOL

Yeah, there was a lot of very "loud" posting from some people that have been quiet the last 8 years on my FB feed. There is so much crap put out there about obnoxious OSU fans but I must not know any of them. In fact, several of mine actually congratulated their UM fans for the win. Others just stayed quiet because they were probably drowning their sorrow in booze. LOL

There is one friend of mine that I do have to tease if she gets started about UM-OSU. My alma mater has played UM one time in all these years... and Toledo won in Ann Arbor yet to boot! She tries to put it off on it being a really bad year for UM (they were 3-9). Toledo had the exact same record that year! In fact, my avatar is a t-shirt Toledo sold because of that win. I still proudly wear it.

I'm just a fan of college football. Yes, I have my favorites and yes there are teams I don't like (Sorry Cheryl but Bama is one of them... and it is all because of the coach). I'm not going to not be friends with someone because of who they root for in college football. That's silly.

There are teams I don't like either, and sometimes it's because of fans and sometimes because of coaches. Either way, I didn't take offense that you don't like Alabama. There are a LOT of people who don't. ;) I'm glad we're friends.

We planned our 2nd thanksgiving celebration with my parents around my hubby being able to watch the Michigan game. He was very happy with the outcome. It actually was a really good game.

That was all that was in the TVs all around us at the hotel.
