Has anyone printed PL pages with collect app photos on them in a size smaller than 12x12? My husband is flying back from his big trip today and I'm working on my plan for the photos he sent me. As he was sending them to me, I was putting them in my collect app so I could label things and keep them organized. His original plan was to send me one photo a day, but instead he sent me around 10 a day. My plan is to include some highlight photos from his trip in my 12x12 PL album, but thanks to the suggestions here, I would also like to make a gift album for him of all of his work trips this year. I still think the collect app is the best way to keep things organized and it will fit his style more as I think it will be something that he would show co-workers and keep on his desk at work. However, 12x12 is not the right size for this album. I figure the text will be fine smaller, I was just wondering if the photos would be too small.

Thanks!

Let me add that his photos are not great quality, so I wouldn't print them too big anyway. He's just a photo snapper, without much thought. He's got a few good ones, but most are blurry (he just snaps while he's walking) or grainy from being shot in low light. He did a great job capturing his trip through his own eyes... but there's not much artistic merit to them :-)

I don't have Collect, but why not a 6x8 album? It uses standard sized cards, so the pics and text are the same size, but without being in a huge album. Personally, I don't like 12x12 for anything. It's just huge. I love 6x8s though.

Hmm... I hadn't really thought about that. I was originally thinking that I would do a bound book, but now you have me thinking. In order to have this done and printed by Christmas, I would have to end it early. But if I do this as a 6x8, we can just keep adding to it up until when I give it to him. And, if there's still room in the album, we can just keep it going into the next year.
