Hi everyone! As you start to think about the holiday season this year with our Document Your December event, here's a quick little game where you can hop in and win a little prize all while getting to know your scrapping community members.

Answer one or more of the prompts as applicable to your here and now (with preparing for the holidays if able but not required) feel free to link us to a recipe you've been making on repeat, your fave song, show a photo or layout in your gallery. It's all about what is making you tick in November 2023.

One random post will win a $3 GC. Challenge closes on Monday, November 13th at 11:59pm EST. One post per person.

My example
Focused on: my new puppy Stella. She's a handful (and joy)! She's growing so fast and eating so much (6 cups per day!). She weighed 40.2 lbs (18.2 kg) at today's vet appointment at 17w. First photo is picking her up, and that's her momma. Her Dad is 100 lbs (45 kg) though. The vet estimates she will be about 75-80 lb (34-36 kg) when grown, which is big for a female golden retriever. She's a big baby and asks to get in my lap for a nap :wub and I kinda love it.

Making and Eating:
Heading into summer I have made this on repeat.
Quinoa, red peppers, cucumber, edamame beans, mango, red cabbage and sliced carrots.
This gets a swirl of peanut butter, soya, rice vinegar dressing.
It is so good and really fills you up.
Meatless Monday - here we come!

Currently, I'm on a crock pot kick. I made this recipe and it got an A+ from my grandson. It took longer to find the Mandarin Teriyaki sauce than to make it. (finally found it at Fred Meyer). I added a can of chunk pineapple at the end.

Making: Reservations, for Thanksgiving at Portland City Grill with my husband & for Holiday Tea at the Heathman with my friends. The former is a new experience for us and the latter is a delightful return to a pre-pandemic experience.

Of course there will be layouts to follow each of these events!

Listening to: Country isn’t big here in Sweden, but I have been listen to the top 50 country playlist on Spotify the last weeks and I really like it. It’s refreshing to listen to a top 50 that doesn’t include gangster rap which is big on the Swedish top list.

Shopping for a new Apple Studio Max! My current computer just can’t keep up with the latest changes in Photoshop.

Listening to: November rain
Watching: the rain drops, because "November rain"!
Eating: Caesar salad
Making: excuses!
Shopping for: socks. I never have enough.
Snacking on: Kinder eggs.
Focused on: finishing a project before the deadline.

Yum that looks so good and easy too!

I'm currently watching through all of Cutthroat Kitchen (only a season and a half to go!) and making myself some hand-knit headbands.

Oooh that's fun! How exciting!

Eating: rice crispy treats that I plated for my DYD recipe card photos. ;) They were much quicker to make than cookies and I was crunched for time!

So fun! beautiful puppy my dear, love your photos @norton94
Interesting prompts on this thread, thank you so much for sharing the recipes and part of your life. Stephanie, I really love quinoa, and I love how you mixed fresh veggies.

Here is my today's currently
Watching: I dream of Jeannie (today I remember this tv show, my parents used to watched when I was child, although at that time was a retransmission).
watching.png

Eating: Homemade oat cookies with hot chocolate
Focused on: Scrap and on this week decorate for Christmas

We've just returned from a short cruise and now I'm in bed with COVID so there won't be a lot happening for a few days but I might be able to plan my Days of December hopefully.

Listening to: The Sunset by Lee Childs from Audible
Watching: the sunshine from my window
Eating: HWFL shakes because I ate too much on the cruise
Making: lots of nose blowing
Shopping for: COVID antivirals
Snacking on: Strepsils throat lozenges
Focused on: getting rid of this virus

Oh no! Feel better!!! Love your answers - get rid of the vid!!

This evening I was watching . . .
That’s crazy!!

Listening to: Mix Megapol (Swedish radio station mixing old & new music)
Watching: True Blood (alone) & Bodies (with hubby)
Eating: too much
Making: layouts
Shopping for: digi supplies (Is it too much to ask the designers to stop doing gorgeous stuff? Start doing ugly things and I can save some money!)
Snacking on: gingerbread cookies
Focused on: my health ... or lack of it

And a recipe I plan to try. Will add it to this year's Christmas dinner buffet.
