Welcome to our iNSD celebration. This weekend, we are going to be playing our version of Flat Stanley. What is Flat Stanley you ask...well I'm here to explain haha! The Flat Stanley Project is an educational project that was started in 1995 by Dale Hubert, a third grade teacher. The project was designed to facilitate the improvement of the reading and writing skills of elementary school students, while also promoting an interest in learning about different people and places. The idea is for students to cut out and color Flat Stanley after reading the book. Then they take a picture of him somewhere and write about it. The idea was to show different kids from all over the world and learn a little about where they live and what their life is like.
So we are going to do our own version of Flat Stanley, only we are going to call it...Where's Bart? (Kind of a bit of Flat Stanley and Where's Waldo all in one!)
Throughout iNSD Bart will appear on TLP's Instagram/FB account. He will be having a great weekend. I would love it if you "follow" along on his adventures.
For this game it is simple...you must come back here and report on Bart's adventures. You need to:
1. First and foremost...LIKE the post!
2. Post a Screen Shot of at least four places Bart appeared during the weekend. Please make sure I can see the number of likes in the SS. (He will appear in a couple of different places throughout the day).
3. Mention where you saw Bart in this thread in your post (ie: Bart was at the grocery store)
4. Bart will be adventuring Friday - Monday of our celebration, so your post should have at least 4 sightings of Bart (Please only use one post and come back and edit it with the sightings.)
Here is where you will find Bart's adventures throughout the weekend. We would love it if you give us a follow.
