This is a slow scrap so you will have 24 hours after the chat to complete the challenge. Please follow the gallery guidelines. Everyone who finishes by 1 PM EDT (10 AM PDT) April 30th, will have a chance at scrap cash.
For one entry: Scrap a page, any page, using the new "messy" blog hop! At least 50% of your page needs to be from the blog hop. Here's the link if you haven't done the hop yet! https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/messy-real-beautiful-part-1-messy-blog-hop.99971/
For two entries: Scrap a page using the new "messy" blog hop AND follow one of these three prompts:
1) Build your page around a poem or quote created entirely from “found” text - mixed font/alphas, word art, snippets, screenshots, product labels, or random phrases. Arrange them into a meaningful or abstract poem, then design your layout to match its tone. Let typography be the focus, but enhance it with design, photos, or textures that deepen the message.
2) Design a page that feels like a memory in pieces rather than a clear story. Use torn paper effects, layered photos, blurred edges, or partial text. Let some elements overlap or fade out. The goal is to capture how memories actually feel - imperfect, incomplete, and emotional, rather than neatly organized... a little messy.
3) Instead of a clean split, blur the line between before and after. Let the two sides collide in the middle with messy transitions such as smears, torn edges, or layered clutter. Show the process of change as chaotic and nonlinear. Add rough drafting elements or decision making such as crossed-out words, rewritten captions, or multiple versions of the same image.
