any suggestions how you take mirror photos without seeing your camera ?
I took one from the side so the camera isn't in it but I used my phone camera. The mirror hangs on my daughter's closet so I stood in front and to the side of the mirror, held the camera until it didn't show in the reflection, then took the photo. Sorry this is really hard for me to explain.

I recruited our new intern to help me with this challenge ... as we were shopping at IKEA, she reminded me that their mirrors would be perfect, so we went to town snapping pictures :) Totally fun and what else are interns for, right!? ;)

Can I check with you to see if this photo is ok before I scrapbook it? I tried! In the foreground is my laptop with my work on it. In the mirror is the reflection of the laptop and me, and my hairdresser. I wanted to show the laptop with the work and me getting a haircut because so often in life I have to multi-task. So there is a mirrored object (the laptop from front and top of back), but there's more in the picture than just the laptop.

I'd not been looking forward to this as I have tremors and struggle to take non-blurry photos. However, I did some judicious placement of the mirror which allowed me to stabilise my phone somewhat which helped. When I opened up the pictures I realised that in this (and a couple of others), the silver ornament I had moved from the windowsill and placed on it's side then rested the mirror on actually caught the reflection of the mirror, as well as the mirror capturing the view outside. Not at all planned but I love the result. Thank you for the challenge!
