I know everyone is saying this but WOW -- can you believe it's September already?! With September, there's so much back-to-school activity and getting organized as we dive back into work. So, this month's challenge to help keep you on-track is to create a bookmark! This can be any kind of bookmark -- school bookmark, cookbook bookmark, favorite reading bookmark -- anything goes.
Bookmarks are really easy, so I made a few of them for different uses. The first is a fun back-to-school project that kids can use or give to their friends. This cute bear bookmark was made with Studio Liv, Mushbears Kit. This is an origami style bookmark and very easy to make -- you just print out a square piece of paper and fold it into a corner bookmark. I used a cute bear embellishment and added ears but you can make it as simple as you like. I've added a very quick 1-minute video to show how I made this one. This could also be a fun craft project for a kids party.

And I made two more traditional bookmarks. The first matches my planner theme for the month and I'll use it to mark my page in my planner. This was made with Lynne-Marie, Forest Floor Elements, Papers and Artsy Bits. The second is more of a book-lover's bookmarks that I'll use in whatever I'm reading this month. It's made with A Whimsical Adventure, Academy for Magic, Embellishments and Patterned And Artsy Papers.

Since regular bookmarks are really just long tags, a little hybrid hack is to use a digital tag you may already have in your stash and streeeeeetch it out to make a template or clipping mask for the bookmark. Here's all my bookmarks together. Can't wait to see what you make!

RULES: Since it's a hybrid challenge, you must print out your bookmark, photograph it and post your photo in the gallery and here. Please post to the Hybrid gallery prior to Midnight EST September 30, 2023 and then post it in this thread by copying the code (at the right of your gallery image) from the box under "Share BB Code".
We will draw a random winner at the beginning of next month for a $5 coupon to Sara Gleason’s store!!
You can use any products in The Lilypad store or retired products from current Lilypad designers, you just have to make sure you follow our gallery guidelines. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products (Templates count as 15%). Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.
