Are you ready for a new game?

Yes? Well then... welcome to the August Edition of Lilypad Look-Alikes!

This little game will run for two weeks each month, starting on the 3rd Monday.

Here's how to play. I'm going to start with a page or project from the awesome and inspirational TLP gallery, then the next poster will find another page or project that has something in common with it. It can be the theme, the colors, shapes, photo, a particular element type. You name it. Think outside the box. (Preferably not just another page with the same kit)

Then you leave a MEANINGFUL COMMENT on that page in the gallery and post it in this thread! Be sure to link it up so we can all go leave a little love as well. And you must tell us in your post what the Look-Alike component is :flirty

The next poster will find something in common with your choice, and so on and so on...

Fun, right!

And at the end of the 2 weeks, I'll come back and choose a random commenter to win $3 to the TLP Store!

So, here's the idea. My 1st choice is this lovely page by Justagirl.



And then I chose this one by VinGirl as the Look-Alike. The circle elements are similar... circle photo and the circular donut. And really, doesn't that donut just make your mouth water :giggle

That big picture, stitching and blocky are similar on each page... (hope that is what you mean!)

 
here's one by lizj that is that is similar to the one above ... the big beautiful photo and large title ... plus the blue as the main color! love it!

I chose this one b/c of the stamped title.

 
I chose this LO because of the strong horizontal line through the LO.

I chose this one because of the pictures and the strips of words remind me of the ribbon strips
 
The way the above pics are stroked and matted reminds me of this one, how there is a gap between the frame and pic so it kinda looks twice framed
