Ugh it's that time, time to take down the dried-out-can't-hang-onto-a-single-pine-needle-real -tree! So how do you pack away and store your ornaments?

I reuse the wrapping tissue from the presents & they're stored in a big microwave box in the closet.

They get packed in one of those big plastic storage boxes, then off to the attic :)

Tissue paper... and sturdy boxes (think holiday themed Santa's, Penguins, Moose and such, lol!)

Like these, but square... and different images.

This year, my tree was knocked over by my SIL's family... and a few of my most favorite ornaments shattered. Hopefully, I will be laughing about it next year... but it's still a sore spot for me now. :cry

I store breakable ones in tissue paper in the boxes they came in. Non-breakable ones get stored together in an old shoe box. Then everything gets put into big plastic storage tubs and they go into the rafters in the garage.

The photo boxes sounds like a good idea though, having everything a uniform shape would make putting them away much easier!
