We drove down to camp last night and there was a house that had their lights ON! Almost the end of January & still lights on?!! LOL

nah, that isn't awful Angie - I had mine down at 12:01 on Christmas (just kidding). I was a minimalist this year and I really liked it. hardly put out any decorations, but then hardly had any to put away

i past a house the other day that still had theres on,my husband would leave them up all year round if he had his way

My husband doesn't ever put ours up *grumpy face* he always says "do you ever see fat guys on ladders? Yeah that's cause we don't belong on there* 1) he's not fat, he's perfect in my eyes and b) even if he was super skinny he wouldn't lol
I in the other hand can't since I'm deathly afraid of heights

I put my tree up of course, just not the outside lights. The kids are a little older now and they didn't seem to care, and *I* sure as heck don't care.

I can do mine with just a step stool, but I still didn't.
