Have you checked out the Christmas in July sale? Lots of fabulous bargains on Christmas and Winter themed kits.

All my favourite crafting supply manufacturers are launching all of their Christmas ranges this month ready for Christmas crafting. Do you craft for Christmas? Do you make your own Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, Christmas gifts etc etc? Or perhaps you craft to sell at the Christmas Markets. If so when do you start?

I tend to start my Christmas crafting late October. We tend to get the Christmas crafting stash out of storage ready for October 1/2 term week so the children can start on their gift making. I make our Christmas cards, and some things for the house. I like to add something new to my festive soft furnishings each year. For gifts, as they don't need Christmas themed stash I used to make at least 2 gifts each month to add to a box, but got out of the habit last year. I need to get back into it now I think - my box is getting seriously depleted.

I have been so inspired by all the gorgeous tags and cards I've been seeing in the gallery! Sometimes, I do crafty things for Christmas and sometimes I don't...it totally depends on how much time I have :)

I always stamps my own tags, I like to sit in the quite time before midnight to do that a week before Christmas :)
I've just used my 30% discount for some winter goodies and Rachel's Stellar collection. My treat for this month.

I always think I should enjoy Christmas in July - with it being winter here and us all wanting to hibernate anyway.
I LOVE Christmas kits and doing a daily December.

I don't do very much Christmas crafting anymore. I used to make all of my Christmas cards, but I rarely even send out Christmas cards anymore and when I do, I just buy them. I do use tons of Christmas digital kits to scrap all of the fun things we do around that season each year though, so I love that there are always a new batch of kits each year. :agree

Do you craft for Christmas?
Not lately.

Do you make your own Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, Christmas gifts etc etc?
I have sewn Christmas pajamas in the past but that’s all.

Christmas in July is such a fun thing... I have always thought it was an Aussie thing because their seasons are reversed and they wanted to have some cooler weather for Xmas... but apparently... and according to Google...

How did Christmas in July originate?

What is Christmas in July? According to legend, Christmas in July was first celebrated at a summer camp in 1933, when Keystone Camp in Brevard, N.C. decided to dedicate two days (July 24 and 25) to the holiday—complete with cotton fake snow, a decked-out tree, a gift exchange, and, of course, Santa.
