@gonewiththewind Cheryl inspired me to do my fast scrap video for the first time. I remember a couple years ago someone asked me to do one and I told them I was too of a messy scrapper to do this. Now, I enjoy more and more Cheryl's videos so I decided to give my messy scrapping a go. Mind you, I hardly ever know what my page is going to look at the end. So, my 21 min scrapping are condensed to I think 7 mins and some change. I hope you enjoy it!

@Dalis Yesssssss! I loved seeing your video and I hope other digi scrappers will join in! There is so much we can learn from one another, tips and tricks and shortcuts, and you know, just getting to know the person, with video. I've subscribed to your channel!

If any of you don't know about my scrapping channel, Watch Cheryl Scrap, you can subscribe and view my scrapping videos here: https://www.youtube.com/c/WatchCherylScrap/videos

Cheryl, I've been meaning to ask what program you use to capture/make/edit your videos? I'm a really slow scrapper, but might give it a try and see what happens. ;)

WOW.. that's great. I really liked seeing how you took and element and put it here, there, over there etc. That is so part of the creative process moving and moving something til ...ah it clicks! TY!

Awesome! I am so glad you decided to share. And who cares if it is messy, you are creating works of art!! I loved it!

@gonewiththewind , I have to ask, do you really scrap those pages in 17 mins? I see your videos are so short mine are about that size at 3x the speed save.

Some of my videos are sped up, but yes, most of my layouts are done in about 20 minutes. Well, the scrapping part. I usually do my journaling off camera and my custom shadows . . . so that's another 10 minutes to that.

Wowsers, Cheryl you are a scrapping machine! I wish I could scrap that fast!
My current situation (thank you kiddo and baby) means that I mostly scrap 5 minutes at a time for a couple of days, bahaha!! Though I did pump out 3 pages in one day last week, so that was good.

I just change my mind a lot and I think it doesn't help that I am coming to a page with no clue of what I want it to look at the end. My approach is that if I have no idea how it's supposed to look at the end I will not get disappointed with the final outcome. I am not trying to reach this "perfect idea" in my head. LOL!!!!

I just go with it. I keep adding stuff until it just clicks that it's done. I can't explain it any other way . . . and I've tried! LOL

@Chippi When I first started digi scrapping, and my son was not quite 3 years old, that's exactly how it went. Scrap a few minutes, attend to wailing toddler, rinse, repeat. Ha! But it was better than not scrapping at all, because I couldn't get out any papers, scissors, tools, anything. He wanted to create (and it's no wonder now, he draws constantly). But at the time, it drove me nuts trying to keep him safe. So much easier to save and walk away from a computer.

Oh, and @Chippi ~ it does get better as they age! I can scrap for hours now, BUT it's my own back that limits me. I scrap for 20-30 minutes and then I have stand and stretch and walk. If I go longer than that, it's not good when I do stand up!

This is FANTASTIC!! I'm not sure if my computer could do this? It is 9 years old..... It is so cool seeing your process. I kept watching you move the feathers and then they were gone. That is a something I would do! And @gonewiththewind I can't believe you scrap that fast! I'm a slow scrapper! Many times I even put it 'away' walk away and come back if everything seems correct then I will save.

Everyone is different! Sometimes it does take me longer . . . like with double page layouts, those will often take me 30 minutes + . . . don't worry about the time, just enjoy the time you are creating! <3 You make such incredible pages, it doesn't matter how long it takes you to make them. Especially if you are happy doing it and then happy with the result!

I saw the video. Love it. I don't think I can make a video of my process. I don't plan my scrapping and there will be too many changes along the way. lol!!

This is me during the day! If I even open Photoshop. I scrap my weekly page at night and can usually crank it out under 30 minutes...but that's when everyone is in bed.

I soooo want to watch all these videos. I know I could learn something.
