My first Hybrid project (sort of) and probably as close as I"ll ever come to a hybrid project because I'm not a crafty person... at all!

Basically all I did was create the scrap page with photos of my Dad in the dimensions the cake maker gave me and then I sent it to her and she has a machine that turns photos and the likes into an edible photo she places on the cake and voila! :) My Dad loves it and so did everyone at the party. The only problem we had was that the day we got the cake it was soooo humid and we placed the cake in a very cool air conditionned room so condensation formed on it and the photos were a little blurry. But it was still pretty cool! TFL!
 
Renee, that is the coolest thing!!! I'm really going to have to look at this for the kids' birthdays!

that's a super great idea! and i've seen it done a lot w/ normal photos, but it never even crossed my mind to do it w/ a scrapbook page! awesome!
 
wow....that is so cool! Your dad is very lucky to have a very creative daughter like you. :) This is a great idea. I'll have to do this for dd's birthday.
 
Oh wow, what a fabulous cake! I never knew you could get printed icing like this, ooooohh the possibilities....
