Caught cheating ? ? Really???? oh wait, there is a story here!

just got phone call from Twins Mid High school.
Anna was hysterical, she was referred to principal for cheating. A note with two equations to today's test was found on her. Abby handed it to her in the changing of classes.
The rest of the story:
Abby did hand her a note. It was the equations. But....
it wasn't the note Abby wanted to give her, that one was about body pump tomorrow.
Abby did write down the two equations, because she struggled with it on the test and wanted to go over it before the retest.
she also wrote a note to Anna...both were in her pocket.
She handed the one to Anna.
Anna had it on her desk still folded.
The teacher saw it, opened it and immediately referred Anna to principal.
The principal had us on speaker phone, and said it was like a tv movie...twins on a covert operation. She totally believed the girls, who were devastated and doing much better.
Their punishment for being goobers...they must bring evidence home to make sure this story makes it on a scrap page for our 2013 book! bhahha
 
Oh my goodness! What an unfortunate mistake. Sounds like something out of a sitcom. I can only imagine how I would have felt in their place. So glad the principal believed them!
 
oh man, so glad they believed them!! They will laugh about it someday but I'm sure it scared them!! So glad it has a happy ending. :)
 
Oh no!! Poor girls, but I am so glad she believed them! I can only imagine how they felt. I agree they will laugh about it one day just not right now. Definitely glad this had a happy ending. :)
 
They are in 8th grade, and this is their first year in public school in 5 years. I got laughing because when I was teaching them, Anna would ask Abby to help her, and Abby would always tell her...you have to figure it out on your own, I did.
The principal was actually laughing by the time she called me...she said, she was so upset, because they are good girls, and this was so not like them...but her brain kept seeing it as a tv show! bhhhaaa
 
Poor girls!! Glad the principal saw their side of things, great family tale for years to come!
 
Oh my goodness! I'm so glad the principal believed them! Phew! I think it hilarious that you "punishing" them by scrapping about it!

Poor girls!!! I have twin 8 year old girls that I homeschool. I do have to separate them when we have a test, because I have caught one of them *trying* to cheat off of her sister.

I can't wait to see that page!!!
 
how wonderful that the principal knows your girls well enough to believe them!! that's great! and knows you well enough to make your scrap about it!! :giggle

very funny.. sounds like an episode from the "Patty Duke" show.. Patty & Cathy Lane :) So glad they were believed, but on the bright side they will never really ever do that!! Ha Ha!! Love the punishment!! :) Goobers RULE!! LOL
