Do you play cards? Gone are the days, I think where people sit around and play card games... I used to lots with my older elders... how I miss Euchre...etc!

I do like to play crib with hubby, but we don't play very often! Maybe with the upcoming cold temps coming our way, we should dust them off and broaden our horizons!!!:yesss lol

I love to play cards with my best friend. We do playnights (don´t know the english word for it LOL), where we play some games, sit around and talk and laugh a lot. I love it. And some of our favorites are card games like Skip-Bo (do you know itß - found it at amazon.com, too) or Phase 10 (also found it at amazon.com LOL)

I love Skip Bo!!....I will have to check Phase 10 out though, thanks!

I miss playing... having played in a long time... pre-kids we used to get together with other couples all the time to play euchre... thinking that would be fun date night during the winter.

Hubby and I get together with friends once a months to play Canasta. I haven't played Euchre in ages, that's another one we love!

We love to play cards: Canasta, Skip Bo, Phase 10, Cribbage, King's Corner, Uno, Hit the Deck, Crazy 8's, Old Maid, Go Fish, Snap, Hearts, Oh Hell, A^&hole ... that's all I can think of right now but I'm sure there are more.

DH and I met playing crib on Yahoo! way back in the day. We still play regularly and have been teaching DD how to play as well. Skip-bo is one of my all time favorite games as well.

I also love to play spades and rummy but don't play those as often now...many a childhood day was passed playing these games with my family.

Honestly as a family we totally love games be it card, board, role playing or video. Never a dull moment here.

We like cards here too. Mostly Uno and Skip Bo with the kiddos.

I learned how to play Bridge when I was 10 years old. My grandma is the matriarch of the family and her rule was that everyone needed to learn how to play so there was always a foursome to play with her whenever she was around. She had six kids and now she has 14 grandkids so there are a lot of Bridge players in our family.

My kids and I play a lot of cards... I recently taught them how to play War with just a regular deck. They love that and it's been great to teach my youngest about which number is bigger, etc. We also play a lot of Go Fish. I bet they'd like Uno and Phase 10. I should break those games out some night this week!

I never could get the hang of bridge....someone tried to teach me at some point but I was just totally lost.

War was a childhood favorite of mine and I still play with DD sometimes...we also played a lot of slap jack when I was a kid (so not my favorite card game).

For a more modern card game Fluxx is a hoot..we bought a deck of Fluxx cards about ten years ago and it comes out every time we have visitors, it just takes a game a two to figure it out...then it's just too much fun!
