Well oxygen and other essentials really but what really helps/helped you through the day?

Today for me it was music - I've had a sore back and was feeling pretty sorry for myself but had to get moving and actually do real world stuff Putting in my earphones pretty much turned it around! Dancy, boppy stuff just seems to make my feet move and that was such a help today!

Scrap-wise, on any given day, I pretty much can't live without a template of some sort!

ETA: @MrsPeel if this goes off on a food-related tangent, i am not responsible :backing

The Wiggles...
Or rather any children's program. When they are crabby we just pop on some upbeat happy Wiggles music and they snap out of it really quickly. It's also both fun for us grown ups and a good exercise routine if we join in. Damn those Wiggles have a lot of energy!!

And my morning coffee. I have gotten down to one coffee a day with just one sugar, but I do still feel like I am not ready for the day without it.

I'd be really sad to lose the internet. I love how easy it is to connect with friends and other scrappers and photographers, how easy it is to find information, how I can write something on my computer and it appears on my phone for use at the grocery store, etc etc etc

I could live without it obviously, but besides oxygen, food, and my family, I think that's what I'd miss the most. Interesting. Before the internet, I think I would have said books. Still pondering this . . .

edited to add: I hear you on the music and I love to play it while driving, doing the dishes, scrapping, etc . . .

My iPhone. I know that sounds sad, but I am really not one of those "on the phone constantly, never living in the real world" people. It is just an incredibly valuable tool that I use as needed.

I hardly ever talk on it, but I do use it to text with my husband (5 hours away) off and on during the day. I use it to make bank deposits, for maps/navigation, and to play audiobooks and podcasts (I have a bluetooth speaker I connect it to for that). It also tracks my runs/workouts and is a quick way to get a look at the weather forecast or my current financial picture (LOVE the Mint app!). It's also a fabulous eBook reader, especially now that I have one with a bigger screen.

Yesterday may have been the coolest thing I've done with it yet. I was used car shopping, and, while my father-in-law was very sweet and generous with his time and went along with me, he is not very mechanically astute. I was able to instantly send photos to my husband (I'm sure the sales guy thought I was a little nuts when I crawled under the car with my phone and started taking pictures) and even a video of the engine running, and he was able to determine from several hundred miles away that the car was indeed okay to purchase. That's just one of the things that we wouldn't have been able to do with the technology of a decade ago!

This is all fluff but... my phone, internet, and Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi.

Phone - It has taken over for so many other things - news, camera, alarm clock, mindless games, shopping, etc.
Internet - I am addicted to the interwebz - easily contact people, find information, scrapping community, and everything else it holds.
Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi - yes, not the best thing, but there are a lot of worse things out there.

I've being feeling blah for a few days too, letting things get to me, suffering from a week long sinus headache that will not go away, and it was unexpectedly hot here yesterday! I dragged myself out to run errands before the "after-school crazy" started but my head hurt so bad I was ready to head home early, after only half of my To-Do list was accomplished.
And then while trying to turn into a shopping plaza (to grab a quick ice coffee) I ended up stuck behind a car parked in the intersection, and the girl was on her phone. I didn't see flashers/warning lights on - so was really confused why she was just sitting there blocking the entrance to the plaza. I made my way around her ... and as I passed I saw she was crying. So I parked and ran over to her. She was stuck with a broken down car and was a young teen. She was afraid someone was going to hit her and didn't know what to do. I helped her flag down a nice strong man to help me much the car out of the intersection and we moved her car out of the intersection where she could wait for the tow truck. (she was on the phone with her mom and said she worked at one of the stores in the plaza.) After helping this girl ... I felt so much better. Seeing her going from crying to laughing really helped me.

I can't live without the internet and I need my coffee first thing in the morning. But I have to say ... making sure to find ways to pay it forward or show small acts of kindness does wonders too. Total mood lifter!!

I would have to agree that I can't live without my phone. It has my entire life in it - my schedule, who is picking whom up when, special clothes days at school, fundraising deadlines, etc. My memory is completley gone these days (just too much shoved in that brain of mine right now!). I also use it to text my son to remind him if he's riding the bus or if I'm picking him up. Text my DH about things he needs to remember. It also plays music, tv, and I can read on it while I'm waiting at practice or pick up lines. LOL. So it's also a book, tv, camera, and a cd player. amazing to think that even just 8 years ago I was still on a flip phone and using paper calendars. lugging books around and NOT lugging the tv around. haha

I also can't live without my carmex. :)

My family and Internet!!! Lol

I was on a bed rest yesterday - just for a day - I think I would've gone cuckoo without the Internet!! Lol :)

I cannot imagine living without internet and my phone. It is my life line to friends and family who live far away. And it's also how I communicate with my husband when he's away. It has made such a difference to be able to Skype with him and text throughout the day!

I also don't know how I would make it without my church. The community I have there is just a blessing that I try not to take for granted!

Like a lot of you, my phone and the internet. I almost have a panic attack if we lose power and I can't be on-line.
It drives my hubby (who still owns a flip phone - ha ha ha) crazy!!

@jenn mccabe you are truly a wonderful woman! I know you are one person I would love to meet IRL.

I could not live without my car, for about 9 years out of our 30 years of marriage we have only have had one car and if my husband was working I was at home without one. So I do not take for granted the ability to jump in my car whenever I want and take off. (this was one cost we choose not to have for me to be able to be a SAHM)

My woman's bible study group that meets every Wednesday morning. They are such a support system that would be really really hard to replace!

Internet..... would not beable to digi scrap without it!

A few months ago we were without a car while it was in the shop. As inconvenient as it was, I could live without it. I resent my phone for being distracting, so I could live without that. I do think I may need my laptop & internet though. I need to scrap & read my e books. I like celebrity gossip & fashion. Other than that, just my kids. Those guys get me through the hard times & are mostly responsible for the good times.

if i had an award to give you Jenn i would! i'm a bit misty after reading that - i sometimes leave my dollar coin in the shopping trolley/cart return spot (not sure if that's international but it's so u can unchain a trolley and they make sure you return it) and i spend probably too much time wondering if that has made someone's day - i've never helped anyone like this, i can imagine it will stay with her and she will have told her entire world about you!
