Yeah, we all know October means candy. So I asked the daughter to make some Candy Corn Cookie bark last night but then it got to be late and she hadn't done it. So I went ahead and made some. Then she came downstairs later and made up a batch too - not realizing I had already. So now it is calling my name all the time...

So what candy treats do you like in October?

BTW - Here is the recipe - posted as part of a DSD game or something a few years back. You're welcome.
 
She also came home from shopping with Pumpkin Spice Kit Kats --- help me....
 
:giggle I love it! That bark does look dangerous. Pretty funny that you both made a batch. My youngest loves anything with white chocolate. Maybe I should try your fun recipe.
 
Thanks for that recipe - I love those pumpkin Reeses - seems like they have more of that great peanut butter.
 
mmm I am a sucker for anything sweet! this looks so good and I have almost all the ingredents already! may need to make some this weekend with the kiddos
 
I did so well when I had the first kid who doesn't like chocolate so when Halloween came around every year, I got all of her good candy while she ate all the fruit kind.

That second kid, though, loves chocolate just as much as his mama, darn the luck. :giggle

This is the last year that Kid 1 is going ToTing (sob) so now I will get half as much candy & have to settle for second-hand chocolate to boot (double sob).
