Cancelling Scan Tomorrow

Well after getting all excited i have sat here feeling apprehensive about this 4d scan tomorrow,looking at the pictures on the net the later ones are lovely and resemble baby but earlier ones resemble a skeleton and its freaking me out making me think im not gonna come away feeling anything good and as its only cause im inpatient and wanna know the sex im sure i can wait another week and half till my nhs one to find that out so after a long talk with my husband i have decided to cancel this apointment and maybe make another at 28 weeks when they say the baby is plump and best time for it so my excitement was for nothing but on an up note my husband said i can have the money towards a new laptop if i want now i just have to make that call to cancel lol
 
that sounds like a plan Karen. i never did go through with the scans, always found other things to spend money on, like gear I didn't really need, LOL!
 
i know i really wanna go but then im scared to so gonna cancel really could do with the money at the minute to as were going to turkey 2 weeks today

Seriously though..wait for the plumpness, and enjoy turkey! Wow how exciting!

me too - i know how it is to be impatient - LOL - but it sounds like the choices you are making are for the best :)
 
oh goodness.. that would freak me out too. i'm glad you decided to wait- eep.
 
I'd be much more excited about a trip to Turkey than to see a 4D scan. I just think they're too weird looking, and I think I'd have a hard time paying that kind of money just for a photo. If it were for a medical reason, I could understand. I guess they're popular now though...so it might be the thing to do.

Have fun on the trip and with a new laptop!
 
I agree too! Wait for the scan later when the baby is looking much more healthy and baby like. LOL

And get that laptop!!! :yesss
 
i'd definitely wait too. that's a lot of $$ for a skeleton pictuer! :giggle plus, in no time, you'll have the baby in your arms to hold... it's just a matter of patience! i think you made the right choice!

I am so excited for you Karen. And I think it is best to wait, too, though I know the anticipation must getting to you! Yay for the new laptop!
