Can you multitask?

Do you work on more than one layout at a time? If you do, why do you do it and how do you think it benefits your creative process? If you don't, why not?

I can only work on one layout at a time, and I have to finish it before I can move on. I need that resolution or my creative mind just freezes up. Plus I would worry I would forget to go back and finish it. :lol2

Yep, I'm the same. I have to finish one before starting another. If I don't, my thoughts start to jumble!

Another who can do one at a time. HOWEVER if I am working on a layout and I am just not feeling it I will save it on my desktop and move onto something else. I really don't like to FORCE the creative process. Sometimes I go back to those layouts and other times I just delete them.

Pretty much a big, fat DITTO. :dizzy

Same here, I have to finish my layout before I can start another one. I will also sometimes set layouts aside but I rarely go back and finish them later.

one at a time. and i have deleted a few in my day.

i've also noticed that i only have so much creativity. so if i'm doing a house project, painting, etc, then no scrapping. i ain't got enough to spread around.

I like to be physically working on one layout at a time, but sometimes I find myself planning out various layouts in my brain while taking kids around, or grocery shopping.

This is me, in a nutshell. :)

I must be the only one! lol I prefer to work on one page at a time but I do multitask sometimes. I used to do it a lot but I found I would leave too many unfinished so I try to keep going on one till it's done now.
Some of the reasons I start a new LO would be needing new pics, getting stuck or needing to do a CT page in a hurry. Sometimes I just get bored with a page or don't know where to go with it so I'll leave it and hopefully come back to it.

well. .you are crazy eryn LOL...
i don't think my brain could handle more than one layout at once @_@

I almost always have to finish one before I move on. There are times I've left them just to do title work or something, but for the most part, it has to be saved and uploaded for me to be able to move on!

I'm a one-layout-at-a-time gal. If I don't finish a layout, it is very rare that I go back and finish. I have about 5 in a folder right now waiting to be finished, but I've already scrapped all the pics. Why I can't make myself delete them, I have no idea....

no you are not the only one ROFL I do that too... but I have to admit that I have tons of unfinished pages on my HD :hairpol

One at a time for me too unless I need to scan a picture to add to a LO and don't have time or whatever. I don't like having a page unfinished though, so that's rare. :)

Eryn, I'm with you! I've worked on several layouts at a time on occasion, mostly due to CT work. Normally I work on one at a time too though. Perhaps I'm used to multitasking since I have twins??? LOL!
