This past weekend was the Indiana State gymnastics meet, and my son came in 1st place all around!! He also placed first on parallel bars, first on high bar, second on rings and vault, and third on floor. Funny enough, his best event all season has been pommel horse, but it just wasn't there for him this time, and he didn't place at all. His teammates who DID place on pommel were (lovingly, of course) doing happy dances because they placed higher than Sebastian on his best event!! Gotta love teammates!! :giggle

He qualified for Regionals, which will be the last weekend of our Spring Break. Sooo proud of how hard he has worked this season to overcome adversity and learn to leave mistakes in the past and move on!! Such great life lessons that go way beyond gymnastics!

That is really amazing! All those practices and time spent working hard pay off in the end! It's really a fabulous accomplishment! WTG!! :)
 
oh my gosh! you be proud, this makes all the rushed dinners...the craziness of practice and everything so worth it! I am proud of you and love the determination in his face and the team mates! yeah yeah!

Congrats!!! That's amazing!! My oldest does gymnastics too, but he's more into the parkour-style. He's not doing competitions or anything, just training to impress his friends with his cool moves! lol!
 
That's so awesome! I watched the video on FB the other! Such a proud momma moment for sure! Awesome!
