can anyone help me to make a text path around a circle using photoshop cc

i have followed all the goggle and videos but it is coming out with letters squished together and i cant find the make path when i try to do a circle selection. do we sell ready made circle paths in the store?

just did an update from cc 19 to 20 and now it works in 20 so maybe it was a quirk .

I find sometimes the tools arent working right so I restart it and it usually will fix my glitch. Glad you got it fixed!
