Calendar apps?

This is a spin off of the planner system thread, but it made me wonder what Calendar apps you use? I am not a fan of the new Calendar that came with iOS7. Also, what can I use that will allow me to share events with my husband?
 
I hate the new calendar that came with the iOS7. So, I too have found another calendar! It's called CalenMob (I got the pro version so I don't have to look at the ads) and it's even better than the iphone calendar! It syncs to your google calendar (just like the phone one does). Remember in the default calendar it would show the entire calendar and then list your items you had to do below it?? This does that too, but you can see the colors that you've tagged your items with (if you choose to use those while on your desktop computer). It also allows you to arrange your views so you can have a month view, week agenda view (my favorite), year view, day view, agenda view, mini month, and a custom view.

I have been looking for a new one too...the calendar and no tap to tweet are pretty much my only complaints about iOS7.
 
It's so funny that you posted this because I just found a replacement calendar app too... the same one as Brandi... CalenMob. I'm trying out the free one. If the ads bug me, I'll upgrade to the paid version, but so far I love it! :)
 
Was with CalenMob(paid) for a good long time pre-iOS7, and post update, I've actually switched to Calendars 5 by Readdle. Really like the setup, more of the page is visable in the month view and the day view gives you the option of several days look ahead, split screen. We're sports nuts, and it actually updated a blocked out game my DH and DS was at for the score... totally awesome when I was in a meeting.

We use Calengoo. It's awesome! It syncs with google calendars and when you make a change it changes right away! Love it! Especially all the color coordination!!!
 
So do your husbands use the same calendar app and when they add stuff to it, it updates for you as well? should I have him just add the app and sync it to my google calendar?
 
Hubby and I share a calendar so when either of us add appointments etc. we're both up to date on everything. It makes planning and just day to day stuff so much easier to keep track of!

Yes, I think that's what we did. To create all the calendars I did it from my laptop. It was just easier. I then created calendars for various themes like my work calendar, my personal stuff, boys' stuff and each individual boy. I then had to share the calendars to him and he shared "his" calendar with me. So anytime I or he makes an update it syncs to both apps. Does that make sense?
 
worse - my hubby is on android, rest of fam is converting to all iOS - so we share google calendars. then it doesn't matter which app - by sharing google calendars, we can pick the app we individually, or the app which works with our platform, like, and the share function on google keeps us up to date with the sync/push function...
 
I downloaded the free versions of both Calendars 5 by Reedle and CalenMob and so far really like the Calendars one--I love that it gives me a little snippet of whatever I have instead of just a dot to tell me that I have something on the calendar.
