Okay girls! Here we go!!
I'm posting these on Sunday in case any of us started today. Just update your post each day you run (3 day a week minimum). In case you need a schedule to follow, here's the one I'm using, http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml. I like this one because it's flexible in that you can gauge by time or distance. Now put on those running shoes and get movin'!!
I DID IT!! Ohmygoodnessthatfeltsogood!!! My legs feel like wet noodles and my dinner is threating to come back up, but I freakin' did it! There's little in life that makes me feel as good as working up a great sweat!
7/11: W1D1 Stats: Total Distance 1.84 miles; Time 21:55 (including warm-up and cool down)
7/13: W1D2 Stats: Total Distance 1.85 miles; Time 22:06 (A bit slower today. The soreness made it considerably harder!)
7/16: W1D3 Stats: Total Distance 1.85 miles; Time 21:10
WooHoo!! I actually stuck to it!
**I keep track of my stats using a Garmin Forerunner. I bought it about 5 years ago when I was running all the time. It's a GPS that looks like a wristwatch. It keeps track of your time, distance and pace. They are a bit pricey from what I remember, but if you're serious about running, it's worth looking into. Of course, a plain old watch would do fine. I just like that it keeps track of my pace too.
