Okay girls! Here we go!! :tu I'm posting these on Sunday in case any of us started today. Just update your post each day you run (3 day a week minimum). In case you need a schedule to follow, here's the one I'm using, http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml. I like this one because it's flexible in that you can gauge by time or distance. Now put on those running shoes and get movin'!! :carryon

I DID IT!! Ohmygoodnessthatfeltsogood!!! My legs feel like wet noodles and my dinner is threating to come back up, but I freakin' did it! There's little in life that makes me feel as good as working up a great sweat!

7/11: W1D1 Stats: Total Distance 1.84 miles; Time 21:55 (including warm-up and cool down)
7/13: W1D2 Stats: Total Distance 1.85 miles; Time 22:06 (A bit slower today. The soreness made it considerably harder!)
7/16: W1D3 Stats: Total Distance 1.85 miles; Time 21:10

WooHoo!! I actually stuck to it! :)

**I keep track of my stats using a Garmin Forerunner. I bought it about 5 years ago when I was running all the time. It's a GPS that looks like a wristwatch. It keeps track of your time, distance and pace. They are a bit pricey from what I remember, but if you're serious about running, it's worth looking into. Of course, a plain old watch would do fine. I just like that it keeps track of my pace too.

My hubby signed me up for a 5k on Saturday so I guess I'll be going running tonight! LOL!

K I did it although it nearly killed me in the heat! I ran 1.5 miles tonight and then walked a bit too. My calves got all cramped up so i think I was pretty dehydrated. Gonna try again tomorrow night on the treadmill in the AC!

My spot! Did Jillian's Banish Fat today because it was storming and I have only an elliptical not a treadmill!

I generally track my run on my blackberry while running with a free program called Endomondo - great app to track sports available for most phones!

Run #1: Here was my first run - 2.18 miles in 22min.45sec.
Run #2: 2 miles in 20 minutes. Forgot my phone to track the exacts, but I drove it to find the mileage and watched my time on ipod.
Run #3: Here was my Sunday run! Got my three in this week!!!

Totally know that feeling! Way to go though!!! It does suck, but WOW does it ever make you feel strong, doesn't it?! Love it!

I really want to do this - I was running about 3 days a week in the spring but with my back issues, I can't do any sort of running at the moment. But when I'm feeling up to it I totally want to!

Oh man Karah - hope your back stops giving you fits - bad backs are HORRIBLE!!!

Way to go girls on week one!!! Tomorrow starts a new week!!! I got my three runs in this week and it feels good to say I did it! Problem is...it's supposed to be over 100 here in MI this week and I only run outdoors, so hopefully I can still manage to get three in!!!

Way to go girls! I'm still sitting on the couch. I find it hard to run in the summer - both the heat and both kids at home. I'm more of a school year runner. LOL
