I am so excited! My hubby and I bought tickets today to go see Jimmy Buffett for the 10th time. We found out they were going on sale today at the last minute and didn't have time to rally the troops and see who was planning on going with us this year. We always take a bus full of about 50 people and it takes some planning to see who is going to buy tickets and who is going on the bus etc. It was so last minute that we were scrambling to figure out how many tickets to buy, but everything worked out in the end.

The best part is that the concert is back to the original venue where I saw my first JB concert. It's back in Tinley Park in Chicago AND we got lawn "seats" which are my favorite way to see a Buffett concert. Can't wait!

How fun!! I love Jimmy too, but definitely not as much as you do. LOL

I think "Come Monday" is on my top 10 favorite classic rock songs list.
 
I bet he would be so cool to see in concert! I don't know tons of his stuff, but I have a few of his songs. He's a great entertainer!

Congrats on getting tickets again - and that sounds fun with it being an outdoor venue! :)
 
Jimmy B. was here last month and, although I didn't get to go, it was the talk of the town here. Have a ton of fun!
 
oh fun... I LOVE Jimmy B too! Are you going to be staying for the weekend or just coming for the concert? If you're going to make a weekend of it, maybe we can have a Chicago meet up :wub
 
We are taking a busload of people, so we'll just be there for the day this time. :) We live close enough that it's only a two hour bus ride.

We are thinking about doing another trip to chi-town sometime this summer though, so I'll keep ya posted and maybe we could meet up then! :)
 
I saw Buffett when I graduated from high school back in '97. A group of us went and we had lawn "seats" too. The BEST way to go to one of his concerts!

Have a blast and drink a Margarita for me :D
 
awesome! he just played here the other night....it was really cool....he had sean payton play bongos! :)
