Renee, my brother is away at school in Sudbury and he called last night and said it was so cold yesterday morning there were ice crystals IN THE AIR, like fog. I think their temperatures have been similar to yours. I've been complaining and we're only in the -20s overnight. Stay warm and start counting down to spring!

Yes, their weater is pretty much the same. It's only about 1.5 hours from here. Let me know if you're ever visiting.

Flippin heck I can not imagine that sort of cold!!!! heck the worst we get here is -10 C with a wind chill lowering some but NOT to that extent... and we don't have heaps of snow to deal with either... when it does it shuts everything down!

Wish I could have shared some of the heat from yesterday with you... we hit 31 C which had lots of people not happy cause it was too hot... nearly getting to something close to nice for me... mind it was a chillier (note I said chillier NOT cold) day here today at 18 C...

That is cold! My uncle is somewhere around Sudbury and it gets pretty cold there. I left Windsor Ontario yrs ago and still remember 2-3 ft of snow and wading through the snow drifts to get to school. I don't miss that frigid temps. Vancouver hardly gets any snow but...we get tons of damp, windy rain storms. If I had a choice, I'd have light snow and clear skies (but not too cold).
