It's that time of year here. We've been really fortunate that the weather has been super mild this fall, but the cold weather is coming! I just bought a new pair of knee high boots to wear with skirts and things to work, but I'm looking for a more casual pair.

So first of all, do you wear boots or do you live in my dream location where you never need them lol?

And second, do you have a casual, shorter pair that you really love?

I have 2 pair of snow boots. One to the knee and the other is shorter. They are old so couldn't even tell you where I got them. But I do try to avoid wearing them at all. I just don't go out when there is snow on the ground!

I have all kinds of boots! Since I WFH and rarely wear shoes during the work day, I have scaled back. I basically have every combination of boots that are booties up to knee high, in both brown and black, each in various heel heights. I also have a few other colors of booties (navy blue, mauve, gray, etc). I also own rain boots and cold-weather boots. Lately I'm mostly fixated on comfort!

I just bought these within the last couple of weeks (cushioned foot bed and good arch support): https://www.nordstrom.com/s/beckie-ii-ruched-bootie-women/7937256

I don't blame you, I wouldn't either if I didn't have to lol

Oooh I like those!! I need something comfortable because I do a lot of walking all day!

I live in Wisconsin where boots are a needed item. I have two good snow pairs ...
Than I have cute fall ones .... a pair of fake ugg ones with furry stuff.. black long ones ...brown long ones and some cute brown army like ones ... I love fall weather with long sweaters leggings and boots

I try wearing flip flops but then my feet freeze so I eventually switch to boots.

I haven’t found any short ones that I really love. Sorry I’m no help!

We definitely need boots here. However I have non-standard sized feet which makes shoe or boot shopping very difficult. Full length boots are even harder to find as I have thick calves with short feet. My boots fell apart a few years ago and I haven't found any replacements yet.

I occasionally wear boots on a Sunday. And I do have a cute, short pair but unless you wear a kids size two I'm afraid my suggestions won't help.

I bought a pair that I loved last year and I wore them pretty much every day during the winter. I loved that they were slip on and the purple was so fun even though it sometimes didn't really match what I was wearing. Whoops! They have them in different colors too. I think DSW carries them, but Amazon was cheaper when I finally bought them.

I'm not a big boot wearer, I prefer flip flops, but last year I bought a pair of these boots and really liked them:
