Every Christmas we get a new board game as a family present. Last Year we got WingSpan. My favourite is still Ticket to Ride. What games do you like to play?

Ticket to Ride is such a good one! I have never heard of WingSpan.

I liked playing Cranium when I was growing up. Hues is also a fun one (I'm terrible at it though).

No board games here. No fun playing by yourself.

However, I do have a software package on an old laptop that I can play Clue and Game of Life against the computer. I pull it out once in awhile to play.

I've heard from so many that Ticket to Ride is a fun game. Really want to try it. Board games are expensive though.

We bought Carcassonne this summer. It's really fun. Really recommend. Easy to learn, but in no way a simple game.

Love Board Games.

Favs: Ticket To Ride, Catan, Scrabble, Boggle, Sequence, Tapple, Taboo, Catch Phrase, and Pictionary.
Even Monopoly, lol!

I love playing dice/cards too - Yahtzee, Exploding Kittens, Rummy, Spades, LCR, etc.

I love posts like this since I get great ideas right before Christmas.

Ticket to ride is one of our favorites too, as are many of the games listed. Another fun game is The Great Dalmuti.

I'm not particularly fond of board games, that said I have a bunch for my GKs. My favs are Checkers, Chinese Checkers, and Trouble ... easy to play and quick, lol!!! I also played a lot of Tic Tac Toe with my kids and the GKs.

In my pile are Sorry, Battleship, Monopoly, Clue and Horse-opoly (for my horse loving granddaughter), Cootie and maybe even CandyLand and Chutes & Ladders.

We have many of the ones listed as well. We just purchased Carcassone after playing it at my son's house. We also like Sequence - a card/board game for 2,3,4 or players.

A new to us one is a card game - "do you really know your family?"
I actually enjoy it and you can add up who has the most cards at any time.

We've been a big gaming family but less so in recent years. My personal all time favorites are Scattergories and Scrabble. My favorite newest game I've played with my family is Here To Slay. Other games my family has enjoyed a lot include Barbearians, Carcossone, and Cards Against Humanity.

We just recently played Linkee at a work Christmas party with about 18 people and it was super fun! It's basically an easy trivia game. You get asked four trivia questions and then you have to be the first to shout out the thing those four answers have in common.
